It all started because videos of this product started popping up on TikTok, but the girls who had bought them had gotten them on Amazon, from a specific brand. I even looked up these nails and the glue and added them to my cart for the next time I placed an order.
A few days later, I met up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while, and she happened to have her nails done. I asked her where she went or which manicurist she used, and she revealed her big secret. Her nails were from Shein. I was shocked because it hadn’t occurred to me to look for that product there. She told me that for health reasons, she preferred this method, which is less invasive and also leaves a nice finish. She recommended the handmade nails because those were the ones that lasted the longest.
So, after that day, I started exploring Shein and looking for options I liked. I found several and added them to my cart so I could buy them when I placed an order.
A little background on my nails. Since I was a child, I’ve never been able to have long nails because I played the violin, and that’s impossible with long nails. That’s why I’ve gotten used to keeping my nails short my whole life, even after I stopped playing the instrument. My nails are weak, and I’ve spent time trying products that promise to strengthen them, but with only temporary results—nothing permanent. I even took collagen, biotin, and other supplements, which only gave me a temporary effect, and after a few months, I was back to square one. I also tried permanent manicures, and that was painful too—it was an aggressive process for my nails.
So I found this option and decided to give it a try. Here’s my experience: following my friend’s advice, I applied the nails using the stickers that come with them. They last for 5 days, so that seemed perfect to me—I wasn’t sure if I could keep them on much longer.
I watched several videos to learn how to apply them. And so, one night, I decided to give it a try. It’s important not to get your hands wet for at least 8 hours, which is why it’s recommended to apply them before going to sleep. I started and felt that some nails stuck on well, but the ones on my thumbs didn’t. So I had to reapply those with another sticker.
I went to work, and by the end of the day, they started falling off. I read that the adhesive they come with isn’t very good and that they sell a separate one that’s much better. My experience wasn’t great. However, the result looks neat. They look like salon nails. I really liked them while they lasted.

Bienvenidos a mi blog. Espero que se encuentren bien y que tengan un excelente día. Hoy quiero contarles mi experiencia con un producto que una amiga me recomendo. Y se tratan de las uñas Press On de Shein.
Todo empezo, porque en Tik Tok me empezaron a aparecer videos de este producto, pero las chicas que lo habían comprado había sido en Amazon, y una marca especifica, incluso yo busque estas uñas y el pegamento y las metí a mi carrito, para la proxima vez que hiciera un pedido.
Días despues me reuní con una amiga que tenía tiempo sin ver y casualmente tenía las uñas arregladas y yo le pregunte a que sitio o manicurista iba y me revelo su gran secreto. Sus uñas eran de Shein. Yo me quede impactada porque no se me había ocurrido buscar ese producto allí. Ella me conto, que por salud prefirio escoger este metodo, que es menos invasivo y que además deja un acabado lindo. Me recomendo las uñas artesanales, porque esas eran las que tenían una mayor duración.
Así que yo procedí luego de ese día, a explorar Shein y a buscar opciones que me gustaran. Encontré varias y las agregue a mi carrito, para cuando hiciera un pedido, comprarlas.
Un poco de contexto sobre mis uñas. Desde niña nunca he podido tener las uñas largas, porque yo tocaba el violin y en esta practica es imposible. Es por eso que toda la vida me acostumbre a llevar las uñas cortas, inclusive despues de que deje de practicar el instrumento. Mis uñas son debiles y me he dedicado a probar productos que prometen edurecerlas, solo con resultados temporales, nada permanente. Inclusive también tome, colageno, biotina, entre otros suplementos, que solo me dejaban un efecto temporal y luego de meses volvía a lo mismo. También probe la manicura permanente, y también fue dolorosa, era un proceso agresivo para mis uñas.
Así que encontré esta opción y me anime a probarla. Les cuento mi experiencia, según los consejos de mi amiga, pegarse las uñas con las pegatinas que traen las uñas, te dan una duración de 5 días, así que me pareció perfecto, yo no sabía si era capaz de aguantarlas mucho más tiempo.
Vi varios videos para aprender a colocarmelas. Y así fue que en una noche me anime. Es importante, no mojarse las manos por lo menos en 8 horas, por esta razon es recomendable colocartelas para ir a dormir. Yo comence y sentí que unas uñas quedaron bien pegadas, pero la de los pulgares no. Así que esas las tuve que volver a pegar con otra pegatina.
Me fui a trabajar y al final del día se me fueron cayendo. Leí que la pegatina que traen no es tan buena y que venden otra aparte que es mucho mejor. Mi experiencia no fue tan buena. Sin embargo el resultado se ve prolijo. Se ven como uñas de salon. Me gusto bastante mientras duro.
