Hi, Hive! I hope everyone's doing well.
This blog is all about ✨ Starting A Healthy Lifestyle: A Morning Walk With My Mother and Younger Brother Day 3 ✨
Hello, dearest Hive Friends! Quick Question: Have you tried starting a healthy lifestyle?
There are many ways to start a healthy lifestyle such as going for morning walks, eating healthy, balanced diet, jogging, and exercising.
If you're asking me the same question, well my answer is yes. In fact, this is Day 3 of my morning walk with my mom and this time my brother joined us.
I have already posted the Day 1 and Day 2 of our morning walk.
Starting a Healthy lifestyle
At first, I thought that starting a healthy lifestyle would be so easy. But, I was wrong. SO WRONG. Now, that I started a healthy lifestyle, I learned that in order for me to have a healthy lifestyle is self control and commitment. I learned that progress doesn't come overnight and you really have to work hard for it.
Day 3
After our morning walk day 2, we stopped for 2 days because me and my mother was so tired. I was really ready to call it quits and stop doing morning walks. But, when my younger brother told me that he would join, I remembered the reason why I started doing morning walks in the first place which is to start a healthy lifestyle.
When I told my mother that my brother would join us, she immediately set the alarm to 4:50 - 5:00 AM. And this time, no alarms were snoozed. When the first alarm sounded, we immediately woke up and started preparing.
We started at 5:09 AM. It was already so bright outside. The sun has already risen from the horizon. Sadly, we did not witness the sunrise. But, it's okay.
This is my mother and my younger brother.
They're both wearing my father's basketball jersey. The one that my mother wore is my father's jersey when he was still working at a company and the one that my brother wore is my father's latest jersey.
Our route was the same as Day 2. It's behind the San Remigio Sports Complex.
This is us.
The three of us were already exhausted. LOL
This is the night market.
My brother joked that it is now called the Day Market since it's not night anymore.
After 30 minutes, we immediately started walking back home.
We bought pandesal at a local bakery on our way home.
My brother was already so exhausted to the point that he really walked fast and is already ahead of us.
He wanted to go home so bad.
This is my alma mater.
Looc Elementary School
When we finally arrived at our house, I immediately ate the pandesal that we bought.
This is our Day 3 Stats.
By the way, I am using the app STRAVA to record our morning walk. We walked for an hour with 6.10 KM distance and 7,924 steps. I am so tired and also so proud of myself.
That's all for this blog. Thank you for reading!!
