Hello, my dear Hive Friends! As part of my routine, I’m once again writing on the spot before winding down for the day. Sharing these little reflections has become a comforting habit, and I’m glad to bring you along with me.
Yesterday afternoon, around 3 PM, I was about to grab clothes from my closet before taking a bath. On impulse, I slid the curtains open to see what was outside my window. The view was simple yet calming. I gazed at the roofs and walls of my neighbors’ houses, then let my eyes rest on the trees standing quietly in the afternoon light.
It wasn’t a grand scene, but it carried a quiet beauty that made me pause. I even took a few photos so I could share this moment with you, my Hive Friends.
Living here in Bulacan, I’ve come to appreciate these small, peaceful details. After spending more than a decade in Manila for work, I grew tired of the noise, traffic, and pollution. Life in the province may be simpler, but it’s also calmer, kinder, and more refreshing. Even though Bulacan is close to Manila, it still holds the charm of provincial living—and I’m grateful to be here.
Thank you for taking the time to read my little reflection today. I hope my afternoon window view brings you a sense of calm, too. Until next time, Hive Friends!
