Rainy days have a way of slowing everything down, but for me, they’re a reminder of how much I appreciate my hybrid work setup. Today, I didn’t have to worry about commuting or rushing through traffic. Instead, I got to enjoy the comfort of working from home and indulging in a meal that made the day even brighter.
As the rain poured outside, I felt too lazy to step out and buy food. My fridge only had eggs and frozen items, but my craving was clear: adobo. So, I checked our community Facebook group to see if any sellers had it on their menu.
To my delight, there were several choices available. I quickly ordered mixed pork and chicken adobo, messaged the seller, and within minutes, my lunch arrived; simple, fast, and satisfying.
I paired the adobo with rice and a cold Coke, the perfect combination. Every bite reminded me why adobo is such a classic comfort food. Rain outside, warm adobo inside, and the joy of working from home, it all came together beautifully.
Thank you for reading about my little rainy-day lunch adventure. Sometimes, it’s the simple meals and small comforts that make hybrid work setups feel extra rewarding. I appreciate your time, and I’d love to hear how you enjoy your work-from-home days, too!
