Feliz inicio de semana queridos hivers, espero hayan arrancado con mucha energía, en mi caso, empecé mi semana con las pilas puestas como dice el dicho, ya que este día represento el inicio del 2do lapso como tal en la mayoría de las instituciones educativas de mi país, puesto que la semana anterior tuvimos una asistencia estudiantil muy baja, optando por trabajar más que todo con repasos con los alumnos asistentes; como pueden ver iniciamos con el acto del cívico, el cual fue dirigido por los docentes de área de sociales, quienes asignaron a algunos estudiantes el discernimiento de los símbolos patrios nacionales y regionales en marco de la campaña que se está promoviendo desde el Ministerio de Educación sobre la defensa de la soberanía nacional.
Happy start to the week, dear Hivers! I hope you've started with lots of energy. In my case, I started my week with my batteries fully charged, as the saying goes, since today marks the start of the second term in most educational institutions in my country. Last week, we had very low student attendance, so we opted to work mainly on reviews with the students who were present. As you can see, we started with the civic ceremony, which was led by the social studies teachers, who assigned some students the task of discerning national and regional symbols as part of the campaign being promoted by the Ministry of Education on the defense of national sovereignty.

Esta actividad estuvo muy enriquecedora ya que las estudiantes seleccionadas explicaron con detalle el origen de nuestro tricolor, así como el significado de cada uno de sus colores y sus elementos como escudo y estrellas; siendo tambien considerada la bandera y escudo regional del estado Sucre entidad donde residimos, siendo un acto lleno de sentimiento patriótico.
This activity was very enriching, as the selected students explained in detail the origin of our tricolor flag, as well as the meaning of each of its colors and elements, such as the coat of arms and stars. The regional flag and coat of arms of Sucre State, where we live, were also considered, making it an event filled with patriotic sentiment.

Lo que más me gusto fue que todos los presentes rindieron honor como debe ser a los símbolos patrios, tomando los mismos estudiantes la batuta de liderar la entonación del himno nacional completo con todas sus estrofas, sin ningún error, procediendo luego a entonar las notas del himno del estado sucre de forma perfecta, siendo esto resultado del gran trabajo que está realizando el profesor de premilitar quien se ha dedicado a resaltar la importancia del tema patriótico en sus planificaciones.
What I liked most was that everyone present paid due respect to the national symbols, with the students themselves taking the lead in singing the entire national anthem with all its verses, without any mistakes, and then proceeding to sing the anthem of the state of Sucre perfectly. This is the result of the great work being done by the pre-military teacher, who has dedicated himself to highlighting the importance of patriotism in his lesson plans.

Antes de despedirme les oriento a aquellos que comparten mi profesión de docentes a no tener temor de darles el protagonismo a sus estudiantes para que demuestren todo su potencial, estoy segura que se llevaran una grata sorpresa; propiciando que sus compañeros se motiven también a participar activamente en las actividades que se realizan en las escuelas y liceos, hasta una nueva oportunidad.
Before saying goodbye, I encourage to other teachers like me not to be afraid to give your students the spotlight so they can demonstrate their full potential.
