Where Anime Soul Meets Street Style Power
⸻
Hi, I’m Mansi — a fashion designer and illustrator who believes every piece of clothing can carry a story. Not just one of threads and silhouettes — but one of emotion, rebellion, and identity.
Street Demons is my concept board, my moodboard, my character sketchbook — and now, my collection.
It all started with a feeling…
The way Demon Slayer made me feel.
⚔️ The Concept: Emotion in Armor
Anime has always been more than entertainment to me. It’s a visual emotion. And Kimetsu no Yaiba especially — with its haunting beauty, fierce loyalty, and dramatic fights — unlocked something deep.
I imagined:
What if we wore our battles the way Tanjiro and Nezuko do?
What if clothes weren’t just garments… but armors of spirit?
And that’s how Street Demons was born.
🖤 The Moodboard: Where It All Began
Pasted with powerful poses, layered black fits, and a surge of anime stills, my moodboard reflects what I wanted this collection to scream — or rather, growl softly:
• ✨ Shame, Power, Comfort, Street — the emotions stitched into each piece
• ⚔️ Tanjiro’s fire, Nezuko’s silence, Inosuke’s wildness — all reinterpreted into fashion
• 🩸 Bold rings, oversized jackets, and heavy boots — echoes of street domination
• 💬 Japanese Kanji like (Heart), (Set), (Affable) — because sometimes words are visuals too
Even the color palette spoke to me:
• Pantone 877 C – urban silver
• Pantone Black C – ultimate shadow
• Pantone 466 C – earthy calm
• Pantone 504 C – deep blood wine
Every shade is a mood. Every emotion is styled.
🧵 The Collection: From Paper to Power
✧ LOOK 1 & 2 – Tanjiro in Camel Cloak
Earth tones wrap around strong silhouettes. Hidden inside? Tanjiro’s checkered green print — like carrying his bravery under a trench coat. A piece that walks with calm but carries flame.
✧ LOOK 3 & 4 – Nezuko in Shadows
A full-black duo. Sleek. Long. Unapologetically powerful. With Nezuko printed on the back like a spirit you can’t ignore. These garments speak less, but they command more.
Each figure I drew carries street strength with anime soul. It’s Demon Slayer reimagined for the modern runway, one step at a time.
🖤 Why “Street Demons”?
Because we all have demons.
Some fight them quietly. Some wear them like fashion.
This is for the misfits, the mood-setters, the anime lovers, the storytellers.
For those who believe street style can still carry softness.
That armor can look like a trench coat.
And that boldness doesn’t need to be loud — just real.
Final Word
This collection isn’t just made of garments.
It’s made of narratives, anime, attitude, and art.
This is me — Mansi Gupta —
A designer who lives between fabric and fantasy.
And “Street Demons” is my love letter to both.
