Hola Hivers!💫
Llego el momento de la revisión de mi hija con el traumatólogo, han pasado ya 21 dias desde su fractura de brazo así que nos fuimos a la consulta de la doctora con la esperanza de que retiraran el yeso y que todo volviera a la normalidad.
Hello Hivers! 💫
It was time for my daughter's check-up with the orthopedic surgeon. It had been 21 days since her arm fracture, so we went to the doctor's office with the hope that the cast would be removed and everything would return to normal.
Al llegar a la clínica nos sentamos a esperar el turno para ser atendidos, habían varios pacientes así que la espera sería larga pero divertida pues mi hija se llevó su libro de adivinanzas y nos mantuvo entretenidos.
We went as a family to my daughter's consultation at the Oriente clinic with her traumatologist, time has passed quickly since her fall, they have been difficult days for her but she has faced them with the best attitude for a child and of course both my husband and I have supported her at all times.
When we arrived at the clinic we sat down to wait our turn to be seen, there were several patients so the wait would be long but fun as my daughter took her riddle book and kept us entertained.
When our shift arrived the traumatologist began to check Lucia, she removed the immobilizer little by little, she was scared but behaved very bravely, the doctor made her move her arm and she felt no pain, the skin on her arm was quite damaged and itched a little, then she sent us to the same clinic to perform a new X-ray on the arm to see the status of the fracture so we went quickly to the X-ray area.
Lucia estaba un poco triste sin embargo la doctora aprobó su regreso al colegio y eso la contento un poco, pero este regreso va con ciertas condiciones sin actividad física, osea cero natación, danza y deporte.
The radiologist took care of us pretty quickly, he made the x-ray and in this new image unfortunately we can see that the fracture has not healed and also the doctor saw a new injury but now in the ulna, he indicated her to stay a couple of weeks more with the immobilizer, also to ingest gelatin and kidcald to help the formation of the fall in the fracture.
Lucia was a little sad, however the doctor approved her return to school and that made her a little happy, but this return is under certain conditions without physical activity, i.e. zero swimming, dancing and sports.
We left the consultation a little sad but God's timing is perfect so we are confident that by respecting this new time with the immobilizer and also following the indications of the traumatologist Lucia will improve very soon, we have to return in 2 weeks for a review, so soon I will tell you how we are doing. For now it's my turn to say goodbye and as always it was a pleasure to share my experiences with you! ✨ Thank you for reading me! 😃 See you very soon! 💫
