El fin de semana pasado visité por primera vez la cafetería temática Aki ubicada en Plaza Venezuela. Había visto por redes sociales que este lugar lo habían inaugurado en Julio de este año y por debido a su estilo Kawaii que me pareció interesante quedé con las ganas ir a echar un ojo a ver qué tal. Este es un lugar netamente de bebidas frías (cabe destacar que hay 40 diferentes opciones para escoger), aunque en su menú también pueden encontrarse opciones puntuales de postres como los famosos mochis, macarrons, torta chiffon y la clásica cheesecake.
En esta primera oportunidad pedí un té refrescante de nombre Pikachu que contenía ceylan, jazmín, oolong y limón que, ciertamente, para el calor que estaba haciendo aquel día me terminó cayendo como anillo al dedo. El costo de las bebidas en este lugar se encuentran entre $5 y $7 que, a mi parecer, resultar ser algo costoso en comparativa con otros lugares que se especializan netamente en bebidas frías como Freed Juice Bar, por ejemplo. Pero vale la pena darse un pequeño gusto probando alguna de estas bebidas y disfrutando del ambiente del lugar que te hace viajar directo a tu infancia. Un detalle que me pareció bastante genial fue que por la compra de tu bebida te obsequiaban una figura de regalo y un portavasos de tu preferencia. Obviamente yo elegí mi portavasos de Hello Kitty porque es un personaje aesthetic que nunca pasa de moda.
¿Qué decirles de la decoración del lugar? ¡Toda una preciosura! Si vas con una dosis de inspiración puedes aprovechar de tomarte unas fotografías bastante bonitas en el lugar, pero cuidado con Kumori...nosotras casi la tumbamos de su asiento y las chicas del local nos regañaron por ello (ja, ja, ja).
Last weekend I visited for the first time the themed cafeteria Aki located in Plaza Venezuela. I had seen on social networks that this place had opened in July of this year and because of its Kawaii style that seemed interesting I wanted to go and check it out. This is a place purely for cold drinks (there are 40 different options to choose from), although in their menu you can also find specific dessert options such as the famous mochis, macarrons, chiffon cake and the classic cheesecake.
In this first opportunity I ordered a refreshing tea called Pikachu containing ceylan, jasmine, oolong and lemon, which, certainly, for the hot weather that day, was perfect for me. The cost of the drinks at this place is between $5 and $7, which, in my opinion, is a bit expensive compared to other places that specialize in cold drinks such as Freed Juice Bar, for example. But it's worth it to treat yourself to some of these drinks and enjoy the ambiance of the place that takes you back to your childhood. One detail that I thought was pretty cool was that with the purchase of your drink you were given a free figurine and a cup holder of your choice. Obviously I chose my Hello Kitty cup holder because she is an aesthetic character that never goes out of style.
What to tell you about the decoration of the place, it was beautiful! If you go there with a dose of inspiration you can take some nice pictures in the place, but be careful with Kumori...we almost knocked her out of her seat and the local girls scolded us for it (ha, ha, ha).
