[ESP] | [ENG] - DÍA #38 DE 365: Cuando el CAFÉ se fusiona con el ARTE y la MAGIA de los buenos momentos

Y como soy fanática de contarte algunas de mis vivencias diarias, hoy es momento de contarte la más reciente. Así que vamos con este día #38 de 365 días.

Resulta que a comienzos de la semana pasada me enteré que se llevaría a cabo una exposición de arte en una de mis cafeterías favoritas y ese básicamente sería el plan perfecto para un Sábado por la tarde. El cansancio acumulado de la semana casi me gana y estuve a punto de no querer salir de casa, pero teniendo en cuenta mi mantra poderoso de salir de la cueva me dije: "¡al carajo! vayamos por un poco de arte y café". Me vestí con mi mejor outfit de fin de semana, tomé mi mochila, mis audífinos, mis lentes de Sol y apenas puse un pie fuera de casa un playlist del buen Sinatra me acompañó durante todo el camino hacia el lugar.

La exposición se llamaba Objetos de Culto del artista plástico Jesús Caviglia. Su concepto abordaba la historia que se desprenden de los objetos y como éstos nos llevan a construir nuestras propias historias o despertar un sinfín de recuerdos. Caviglia recurrió al uso del reciclaje y el ensamblaje para darle un nuevo significado a eso que a veces pasa desapercibido en lo cotidiano. ¿Las protagonistas en esta oportunidad? Las cafeteras. Una cafetera, un objeto que para cualquiera podría ser tan simple pero que realmente nos acompaña día a día creando nuevas historias para nosotros.

Las cafeteras de Caviglia, según el mismo artista explicó, se encuentran ahora fusionadas en objetos que cuentan una historia y que a pesar de ser antiguos son imposibles de desechar como, por ejemplo, aquel libro de una enciclopedia de varios tomos que alguien estuvo a punto de lanzar a la basura o los mosaicos de un viejo edificio de la zona que se fueron cayendo con el paso del tiempo y que el mismo Jesús recogió porque pensó que sería una excelente idea reutilizarlos. De todas las piezas esta segunda que te comento fue mi favorita pues asemejé los mosaicos a aquellos que vi con frecuencia en las paredes de mi amada UCV. Me sentí identificada con este artista pues, al igual que él, yo también soy recolectora y creo firmemente que aquellos objetos que muchos catalogan como "basura" pueden tener una segunda vida al hacerlos parte de una pieza de arte.

Como te podrás imaginar, el café no pudo faltar y a todos los presentes en la exhibición nos obsequiaron dos rondas de muestras de café. La primera ronda de degustación fue un café con cardamono y la segunda un Cold Brew con Cocuy que estuvo simplemente increíble. Como a veces me resulta imposible dejar de hablar y conectar con las personas a mi alrededor, terminé entablando una conversación muy agradable con una señora llamada Gabriela. Todo comenzó cuando ella de la nada me contó que había preparado un postre divino a base de café, yogurt y queso crema, así que esto fue lo que dio pie a que ambas pasáramos cerca de una hora hablando sobre temas variados. Gabriela tenía una vibra increíble y me hizo pensar en lo bonito que es toparte con personas tan enamoradas de los pequeños detalles que la vida te regala. Ella fue tan linda y amigable que incluso nos tomamos una selfie y me dio el total permiso de compartila en mis RRSS.

Llámame hippie, pero este tipo de momentos son los que me llenan el alma y me hacen recargar mis energías. Al final, cuando regresé a casa, me dije que fue una muy buena idea haber salido porque, ¿te imaginas que le hubiese hecho caso a mi flojera? me hubiese perdido de fotografiar piezas de arte geniales, me hubiese perdido de una conversación nutritiva, me hubiese perdido de degustar un café que activara todos mis sentidos.

Así que, una vez más te lo digo: sal de tu cueva, porque fuera de ella hay un mundo maravilloso con experiencias increíbles que estás dejando de vivir por tonto/a.

And since I love telling you about some of my daily experiences, today it's time to tell you about the most recent one. So let's get started with day #38 of 365 days.

It turns out that at the beginning of last week, I found out that there would be an art exhibition at one of my favorite cafes, and that would basically be the perfect plan for a Saturday afternoon. The accumulated fatigue of the week almost got the better of me, and I was on the verge of not wanting to leave the house, but keeping in mind my powerful mantra [_to get out of the cave_](https://peakd.com/hive-187189/@maryed/esp-or-eng-sal-de-la-cueva), I said to myself: _"Screw it! let's go for some art and coffee." I put on my best weekend outfit, grabbed my backpack, my headphones, my sunglasses, and as soon as I stepped outside, a playlist of good old Sinatra accompanied me all the way there.

The exhibition was called Objects of Worship by artist Jesús Caviglia. His concept addressed the history that emanates from objects and how they lead us to construct our own stories or awaken endless memories. Caviglia resorted to recycling and assemblage to give new meaning to things that sometimes go unnoticed in everyday life. The protagonists on this occasion? Coffee makers. A coffee maker, an object that could be so simple to anyone, but that really accompanies us every day, creating new stories for us.

Caviglia's coffee makers, as the artist himself explained, are now fused into objects that tell a story and, despite being old, are impossible to throw away, such as that multi-volume encyclopedia that someone was about to throw away, or the mosaics from an old building in the area that fell off over time and that Jesús himself collected because he thought it would be an excellent idea to reuse them. Of all the pieces, this second one I'm telling you about was my favorite because I likened the mosaics to those I often saw on the walls of my beloved UCV. I identified with this artist because, like him, I am also a collector and I firmly believe that those objects that many classify as “trash” can have a second life by making them part of a piece of art.

As you can imagine, coffee was a must, and everyone at the exhibition was treated to two rounds of coffee samples. The first round of tasting was a coffee with cardamom, and the second was a Cold Brew with Cocuy, which was simply incredible. Since I sometimes find it impossible to stop talking and connecting with the people around me, I ended up striking up a very pleasant conversation with a lady named Gabriela. It all started when she suddenly told me that she had prepared a divine dessert made with coffee, yogurt, and cream cheese, which led to us spending about an hour talking about various topics. Gabriela had an incredible vibe and made me think about how nice it is to meet people who are so in love with the little details that life gives you. She was so nice and friendly that we even took a selfie and she gave me full permission to share it on my social media.

Call me a hippie, but these kinds of moments are what fill my soul and recharge my energy. In the end, when I got home, I told myself that it was a very good idea to have gone out because, can you imagine if I had listened to my laziness? I would have missed out on photographing great pieces of art, I would have missed out on a nourishing conversation, I would have missed out on tasting a coffee that activated all my senses.

So, once again, I say to you: GET OUT OF YOUR CAVE, because outside there is a wonderful world with incredible experiences that you are missing out on because you are being foolish.
