At school, children get involved in activities that allow them to explore and appreciate our traditions. My grandsons, Maximiliano and Gael, had the opportunity to be part of this beautiful experience. Each of them contributed in a special way, bringing models and traditional sweets, and wearing outfits representative of our culture.
Maximiliano dressed in the uniform of the Águilas del Zulia baseball team, and he looked very handsome and proud to wear the colors of our local team. Gael, on the other hand, wore a traditional indigenous outfit, complemented by an Indian headdress, a symbol of honor and bravery. This headdress represents wisdom and strength, traditionally worn by male leaders in indigenous communities.
The excitement and joy of my grandchildren participating in these activities was contagious. Before leaving home, I took some photos that capture the essence of this very special day. These images are not only a memory for us, but also a testament to the importance of passing on our traditions to new generations.
