Today was just another ordinary day, but it was filled with so many little moments that made me smile.

Our Ampalaya is Thriving
My day started upstairs, doing my usual routine of watering our plants. And I was so happy to see that our ampalaya, also called bitter melon, is thriving really well! 😍 Seeing new plants sprouting and growing feels like I have new babies in the house. 😅 It brings so much joy and accomplishment just watching them get bigger and healthier every day.

Grilled Tilapia
By noon, I didn't have to worry about cooking at all. My mother-in-law saved us some grilled tilapia that was cooked last night. Since we went to my parents' place yesterday, they kept it in the freezer and preserved it just for us. What a blessing! 😋 I just prepared a simple dipping sauce... soy sauce, chopped onions, and a little bit of sugar. It tasted so good! Lunch was solved! ☺️🩷

Naughty Aiden in a Mini Forest
In the afternoon, my hubby decided to visit our friend, Kuya Toy. Their place is located right at the back of this lush green that looks like a mini forest. While waiting, Aiden was being so naughty and adventurous. He didn't want to stay put. He wanted to walk around and explore everywhere. Not minding the heat of the sun. 🤦🏼♀️ Hayy... that's how kids are! So full of energy and curiosity. 🫣

Cacao de Leche Liqueur
In the evening, my brother invited us over for a small gathering. There he introduced us to this amazing drink. It's called Cacao de Leche Liqueur. And I was amazed as it tasted so good! It’s like drinking rich chocolate milk but with that nice kick of rum. For me, it was absolutely awesome! We spent the whole night just talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company.

Looking back, I realized that life is truly beautiful when we learn to appreciate what we have.
These simple pleasures are what make life sweet and worth living. ☺️✨
