Fin de mis primeras pasantías ✨💙// End of my first internship ✨💙

Hola hola he vuelto.... Definitivamente he estado demasiado desaparecida por acá pero es que mi vida va dado un giro desde que comenzó diciembre y realmente he estado en planes que ni imaginaba que llegarían a mi vida, al menos no a estas alturas.

He tenido un montón de trabajo así que realmente no me queda mucho tiempo para sentarme a redactar sobre todo lo que tenía pensado contar por acá, pero acá estamos de nuevo para contarles uno de los más lindos acontecimientos que ha tenido mi vida estos últimos dos meses ¡La culminación de mis pasantías 🥹✨!
Esta etapa ha sido sin duda la mejor de este año y que no solo me enseñó que definitivamente soy capaz de ser una buena fisioterapeuta y que realmente amo mi carrera, sino que me abrió las puertas a muchas cosas lindas que pasaron después 💙.

Hello, hello, I'm back... I've definitely been away too long, but my life has taken a turn since December began, and I've been involved in plans that I never imagined would come into my life, at least not at this point.

I've had a lot of work, so I don't really have much time to sit down and write about everything I had planned to share here, but here we are again to tell you about one of the most beautiful events in my life in the last two months: the completion of my internships 🥹✨!
This stage has undoubtedly been the best of this year, and it not only taught me that I am definitely capable of being a good physical therapist and that I truly love my career, but it also opened the doors to many beautiful things that happened afterwards

Primero que nada, quiero empezar ordenando las cosas buenas que me dejó las pasantías empezando por mis lindas compañeras, sin ellas no hubiese tenido un rumbo en esas pasantías y hubiese estado super perdida de verdad agradezco que el destino las haya puesto en el mismo centro de pasantías que yo y que no solo nos hicimos un buen equipo para llevar en marcha a ese centro de rehabilitación sino que también nos hicimos muy buenas amigas, realmente nos llevamos en el corazón ❤️.
El lugar era muy demandante por la cantidad de pacientes que acudían al lugar diariamente y por más agotadas que estuviéramos siempre estábamos allí para darle ánimos a quien lo necesitara y así pudiera seguir con la misión, nos apoyamos como solo nosotras supimos hacerlos y nos sacamos sonrisas en los momentos más necesarios, no pude tener un mejor equipo que este, por siempre las llevaré en mi corazón 🥹.

Es por eso que para despedirnos (del centro de pasantías porque seguimos siendo amigas claramente) quisimos hacer un intercambio de regalo, cada una pidió algo que más anhelaba y fijamos un monto para el presupuesto, la mayoría de nosotras pedimos cosas de fisioterapia que nos hacían falta, por ejemplo yo pedí ligas tubulares, una pelota inflable y unas minas para trabajar con diversos tipos de pacientes.... Y ese último día nos dimos nuestros regalos, yo le regale a la que más tiempo llevaba conociendo así que estaba más que emocionada por darle su merecido regalo 😊. Fue un muy bonito compartir ente nosotras ✨.

First of all, I want to start by listing the good things that the internships left me with, starting with my lovely colleagues. without them I would have been lost during those internships and would have been really confused. I am truly grateful that fate put them in the same internship center as me and that we not only made a good team to run that rehabilitation center, but also became very good friends. We really love each other ❤️.
The place was very demanding due to the number of patients who came there every day, and no matter how exhausted we were, we were always there to encourage those who needed it so they could continue with the mission. We supported each other as only we knew how to do and brought smiles to each other's faces when it was most needed. I couldn't have had a better team than this one, and I will always carry them in my heart 🥹.

That's why, to say goodbye (to the internship center, because we are clearly still friends), we wanted to do a gift exchange. Each of us asked for something we wanted most and set a budget. Most of us asked for physical therapy supplies we needed. For example, I asked for tubular bands, an inflatable ball, and some weights to work with different types of patients.... And on that last day, we gave each other our gifts. I gave a gift to the person I had known the longest, so I was more than excited to give her her well-deserved gift. It was a very nice moment of sharing. ✨

En segundo lugar pero claro, una de las cosas más importantes quiero agradecer por todos los pacientes increíbles que conocí allí, no puedo estar más feliz de saber que pusieron su confianza en mi para ayudarlos con sus diferentes patologías y así devolverles poco a poco la capacidad de vivir una vida sin dolor, sin molestias, sin limitaciones, solo con disfrute como debe ser. Gracias a todos los que cada día nos llevaron detalles como chucherías, desayunos, galletitas, dulces, frutas, o cosas como collares o pulseras, en fin diferentes detalles que a lo mejor ellos lo veían como pequeño o insignificante, pero para mí era lo más hermoso que podía recibir en la vida... Fue un verdadero placer hacer dedicado mi tiempo en ayudarlos, Gracias por absolutamente todo 🥹✨.

Con ellos también hicimos un compartir ya que todos se organizaron y nos llevaron un montón de cosas para compartir y hacernos una despedida increíble, entre música y comida los que estaban allí dieron su testimonio de como llegaron al servicio y como salieron gracias a nosotras, claramente todas lloramos de lo lindo que se expresaban de nosotras ❤️.

Claramente a los coordinadores del servicio también los llevo en el corazón porque nos dieron la oportunidad de ser quienes le dábamos vida a ese centro y atendíamos a los pacientes, también tuvieron fé en nosotras y eso es increíble porque nos dejó las puertas abiertas en ese centro hasta nos dijeron que nos iban a volver a llamar en las siguientes pasantías porque realmente nos amaron y amaron nuestro trabajo 😊.

Secondly, but of course, one of the most important things I want to thank is all the incredible patients I met there. I couldn't be happier to know that they put their trust in me to help them with their different conditions and thus gradually restore their ability to live a life without pain, without discomfort, without limitations, just with enjoyment as it should be. Thank you to everyone who brought us little gifts every day, such as sweets, breakfasts, cookies, candies, fruits, or things like necklaces or bracelets. In short, different gifts that they may have seen as small or insignificant, but for me were the most beautiful things I could receive in life... It was a real pleasure to dedicate my time to helping them. Thank you for absolutely everything.

We also shared with them, as they all organized themselves and brought us lots of things to share and gave us an incredible farewell. Between music and food, those who were there gave their testimonies of how they came to the service and how they left thanks to us. Clearly, we all cried at how beautifully they expressed themselves about us ❤️.

I clearly hold the service coordinators dear to my heart as well, because they gave us the opportunity to be the ones who brought that center to life and cared for the patients. They also had faith in us, which is incredible because they left the doors open for us at that center and even told us that they would call us back for future internships because they really loved us and loved our work.

Y por último pero muy importante, le agradezco a la Génesis del comienzo por nunca rendirse y seguir luchando por sacar la carrera adelante, que lindo se siente ver hacia atrás y darme cuenta de que todo mi esfuerzo está valiendo la pena y se ve reflejado en cada avance de los pacientes, en cada agradecimiento, en cada felicitaciones, todo al final tendrá su recompensa y que lindo saber que a pesar de tantos llantos, frustraciones y decepciones hubo una luz. Génesis mira que bella e iluminada te vez con tu uniforme, si la cámara de tu teléfono puede captar eso ¿Imagínate como te ves ante los ojos de tus pacientes? ✨.

Después de todo el gran compartir entre las compañeras, con los pacientes y coordinadores de pasantías fue momento de decir adiós al centro que nos recibió por mes y medio, espero volver en algún momento porque necesito darle un cierre a todos esos pacientes que con mucha ilusión esperan que volvamos las mismas en enero.

And last but not least, I am grateful to Genesis for never giving up and continuing to fight to move forward with her career. It feels so good to look back and realize that all my efforts are paying off and are reflected in each patient's progress, in each thank you, in each congratulation. In the end, everything will be rewarded, and how wonderful to know that despite so many tears, frustrations, and disappointments, there was a light. Genesis, look how beautiful and radiant you look in your uniform. If your phone camera can capture that, imagine how you look in the eyes of your patients? ✨.

After all the great sharing among colleagues, with patients, and internship coordinators, it was time to say goodbye to the center that welcomed us for a month and a half. I hope to return at some point because I need to give closure to all those patients who are eagerly awaiting our return in January.
