Este jueves terminé de rehabilitar odontológicamente a mi primer paciente niño, puesto que debo rehabilitar a otra paciente más pero adolescente, una aventura totalmente fascinante ya que mi niño se encontraba con una salud bucal bastante deteriorada, en donde predominaban sus caries, tenía diversas cavidades así como también abundantes focos infecciosos conjuntamente con inflamaciones en las encías esta aventura inició justamente en noviembre, cuando comencé a atenderlo el año pasado fue mi paciente de emergencia por lo que le hice diversos procedimientos, decidí que él sería mi próximo objetivo para este anual y gracias a dios he logrado mi propósito de regresarle su salud bucal.
This Thursday I finished the dental rehabilitation of my first child patient, since I have to rehabilitate one more patient but teenager, a totally fascinating adventure since my child was with a very deteriorated oral health, where his cavities were predominant, He had several cavities as well as abundant infectious foci together with inflammations in the gums, this adventure began just in November, when I started to take care of him last year he was my emergency patient so I did several procedures, I decided that he would be my next target for this year and thank God I have achieved my purpose of returning his oral health.
En la última consulta pude realizarle una aplicación tópica de flúor para proteger sus dientes y hacerlos más fuertes, ya que este es un mineral que le ofrece fortaleza a cada uno de los dientes, que se encuentran en la cavidad bucal luego le hice una extracción de un diente que tenía movilidad, conjuntamente con una risalizis atípica el diente también tenía caries, estaba muy cercano a la furca, la extracción fue de una manera bastante rápida y sin dolor al terminar la extracción daba de alta a mi pequeño paciente.

También nos encontramos rehabilitando a su pequeño hermano de 5 años, este también tiene algunas caries en su boca pero no tanto como su hermano mayor, particularmente llevo varias semanas compartiendo estas guardias con una chicas bastante responsables, entregadas y con gran interés al aprendizaje, fue su último día en la rotación de la clínica integral del niño, por lo que aprovechamos la oportunidad para tomarnos diversas fotos, ellas estaban totalmente encantada con el paciente y lo bien que se portaba, así como también con cada uno de los procedimientos que se realizaba ya que les explicaba todo y me agradecieron mucho por mis conocimientos.
We were also rehabilitating his little brother of 5 years, this also has some cavities in his mouth but not as much as his older brother, particularly I have been sharing these guards several weeks with a very responsible girls, dedicated and with great interest in learning, it was his last day in the rotation of the integral clinic of the child, so we took the opportunity to take several photos, they were totally delighted with the patient and how well he behaved, as well as with each of the procedures that were performed as I explained everything and they thanked me very much for my knowledge.
Cabe destacar que a mi paciente le llamó mucho la atención su gran cambio, con este paciente reforzamos cada uno de los hábitos de higiene, ya que es muy importante realizar prevención, para que tenga las herramientas adecuadas para no volver a caer en la enfermedad de la caries dental, para que esta no siga progresando de tal manera que deteriore con mayor fuerza cada uno de sus dientes, esta guardia es una de mis favoritas ya que atender a los pacientes pediátricos, es lo que más emociona de la odontología es aquella especialización que me gustaría realizar en un futuro.
