Los cepillados de Jesús ríos es un lugar totalmente histórico localizado en el famoso sector de Veritas de la ciudad de Maracaibo, fundado justamente en 1930, esto se ha convertido en una esquina de cultura tradición y exquisitez para el Zuliano, ya que todo el mundo en algún momento, ha ido a comer estos deliciosos cepillados y que en la actualidad, siguen totalmente vigentes para todo el pueblo marabino, ofreciendo su deliciosos diferentes tipos de sabores de cepillados con un sabor auténtico y totalmente original.

Jesús Ríos’ Cepillados is a truly historic spot located in the famous Veritas district of Maracaibo, founded back in 1930, It has become a hub of culture, tradition and culinary excellence for the people of Zulia, as everyone has, at some point, gone there to eat these delicious cepillados. Today, they remain as popular as ever amongst the people of Maracaibo, offering a delicious range of flavours with an authentic and entirely original taste.

Ahora bien, esto es tan ubicados en una antigua casa histórica, a pesar de que de cierta manera, el tiempo ha dejado su huella ahí en la actualidad, se encuentra mantenimiento y lo cepillado de Jesús Ríos se encuentran laborando para el público justamente enfrente de esta edificación, puedes encontrar unas letras que dice estamos laborando en el frente indicando que a pesar de que no estén allí temporalmente estarán en un momento ya que están realizando labores de mantenimiento en el lugar, puesto que tuvieron que hacer ciertas ciertos arreglos a su techo que él mismo se estaba cayendo debido a su gran antigüedad.

Now, this is located in an old historic house; although, in a way, time has left its mark there, maintenance work is currently underway, and Jesús Ríos’s team are working for the public right in front of this building. You can see a sign at the front stating ‘We are working here’, indicating that although they are not there at the moment, they will be back shortly as they are carrying out maintenance work on the premises, as they had to make certain repairs to the roof, which was itself falling down due to its great age.

Cepillas se encuentran bastante seres cerca del hospital de niño de Veritas, prácticamente diagonal y muy cerca también de la primera bomba de la ciudad de Maracaibo, por lo que está muy bien referenciado en una ubicación bastante buena, por lo que va a ser muy fácil llegar a este lugar, ya que no está metido, en un sitio inhóspito, y también hacer una esquina de gran tradición y referencia para los Zulianos, puede preguntar en caso de que no sepa cómo llegar uno de sus sabores más deliciosos. ¿Es el sabor que poseen de mango? A ver dicen que es sumamente exquisito y ya que también se encuentra combinado con diversas otros frutas cítricas exquisitas conocidas por nosotros.

Cepillas is located quite close to the Veritas Children’s Hospital, practically opposite it, and very close to the first petrol station in the city of Maracaibo, so it’s very well situated in a rather good location. This means it’ll be very easy to get there, as it isn’t tucked away in some out-of-the-way spot, It’s also a long-standing local institution and a well-known spot for the people of Zulia; if you’re unsure how to get there, just ask about one of their most delicious flavours. Is it the mango flavour? Apparently, it’s absolutely exquisite, especially as it’s combined with various other delicious citrus fruits we’re all familiar with.

Me parece que mi ciudad de Maracaibo es un lugar bastante rica y lleno de historia, a pesar de que nuestra cultura como zuliano no nos invite, particularmente a querer acrecentar y tener más conocimiento acerca de la historia, puesto que la mayoría de las personas no le resulta relevante eso, lo que resulta más terrible es que a pesar de que es muy rica en historia tradiciones costumbres, es una manera de poder tener vigente la historia y los lugares de donde venimos espero que en algún momento podamos reflexionar y ser más consciente de todo lo que somos, hacia dónde vamos conociendo nuestras verdaderas costumbres.

I feel that my city, Maracaibo, is a place rich in history, even though our culture as Zulianos doesn’t particularly encourage us to want to learn more about our history, as most people don’t see it as relevant; What is most tragic is that, despite being so rich in history, traditions and customs, it is a way of keeping our history and the places we come from alive. I hope that at some point we can reflect and become more aware of who we are and where we are heading, as we come to know our true customs.
