El santuario nacional de la ciudad de Guanaré es un lugar donde la fe Venezolana se une en un solo punto venerar a la madre de Dios la Virgen de Coromoto quien se ha aprecido en este pueblo para quedarse para siempre, primera vez que tengo el gusto de visitar este estado llanero como lo fue el Santuario Nacional, cabe destacar que este lugar es el punto de entrada a la llanura ubicada justamente en el centro occidente de Venezuela, lugar fantastico e increible donde la paz que percibe es infinita yo fui con un grupo de peregrinos de Maracaibo quienes viajamos desde Maracaibo hasta Portuguesa en un bus encava, donde primeramente fuimos al pueblo de Santa Rosa donde esta la virgen Pastora, para luego llegar a este hermoso Santuario de Guanaré que sencillamente es espectacular.
The national shrine in the city of Guanaré is a place where Venezuelan faith comes together to worship the Mother of God, the Virgin of Coromoto, who appeared in this town to stay forever. This was my first time visiting this plains state, as well as the National Shrine. It is worth noting that this place is the entry point to the plains located right in the centre-west of Venezuela. a fantastic and incredible place where the peace you feel is infinite. I went with a group of pilgrims from Maracaibo who travelled from Maracaibo to Portuguesa on a bus, where we first went to the town of Santa Rosa, home to the Virgin Pastora, and then arrived at this beautiful Sanctuary of Guanaré, which is simply spectacular.
Este Santuario posee una arquitectura totalmente moderna donde puedes apreciar su gran imensidad siendo una iglesia totalmente gigantezca prácticamente la más grande de Venezuela, la experiencia inicial es que quede totalmente impresionada por el lugar y también estaba bastante porque era un sueño que tenía como católica poder asistir a este lugar, sencillamente cumplirlo fue una experiencia gratificante y compartir este sueño con personas totalmente diferente fue enriquecedor sin duda alguna, un altar que esperaba que el padre Alfonso Rodriguez que nos estamas acompañando como director espiritual.
This sanctuary has a completely modern architecture where you can appreciate its great immensity, being a totally gigantic church, practically the largest in Venezuela. My initial experience was that I was completely impressed by the place, and I was also quite excited because it was a dream I had as a Catholic to be able to visit this place. Simply fulfilling this dream was a rewarding experience, and sharing this dream with completely different people was undoubtedly enriching. An altar that I hoped Father Alfonso Rodriguez, who is accompanying us as spiritual director, would bless.
Justamente nos habian dicho al llegar que ibamos a relizar, la santa misa en la capilla que se encontraba en el sotano pero nos concedieron la dicha especial de que la Santa misa fuera en su altar central que es totalmente fantástico, todos nos disposimos a escuchar la Santa Iglesia mientras que la hermana del Colegio Rosmini fue quien primeramente fue la responsable de llevar el Santo Rosario a la Virgen María y nos deleito a todos con sus hermosos cantos fue un monento de canto único, yo tenía una necesidad infinita de confesarme para recibir el cuerpo de Cristo.
Upon arrival, we were informed that we would be celebrating Holy Mass in the chapel located in the basement, but we were granted the special privilege of celebrating Holy Mass at the central altar, which is absolutely fantastic. We all prepared ourselves to listen to the Holy Church, while the sister from Rosmini College was the first to take the Holy Rosary to the Virgin Mary and delighted us all with her beautiful songs. It was a unique moment of singing. I had an infinite need to confess in order to receive the body of Christ.
El padre Alfonso Rodriguez, procedio a celebrar la Santa misa especial que no todo sacerdote tiene el gusto de celebrar, no es muy común ya que esto es un Santuario Nacional de la Virgen de Coromoto donde nace la fe de la cuna Mariana en nuestro país Venezolana, todos los peregrinos estabamos atentos escuchando la santa misa como peregrinos de la esperanza en nuestra fe cristiana católica en este momento me quebrante absolutamente ya que sentía muchas ganas de llorar porque estaba tan cerca de la Virgen y era un lugar que siempre había esperado, durante la homilia estaba haciendo la fila para confesarme pero justamente cuando me faltaba poco el sacerdote dejo de confesar y ofrecí todo a papá Dios, sin duda esta visita movió tantas fibras en mi.
Father Alfonso Rodriguez proceeded to celebrate a special Holy Mass that not every priest has the pleasure of celebrating. It is not very common, as this is a National Shrine of Our Lady of Coromoto, where the Marian faith was born in our country of Venezuela. All the pilgrims listened attentively to the Holy Mass as pilgrims of hope in our Catholic Christian faith. At that moment, I was completely overwhelmed, as I felt a strong urge to cry because I was so close to the Virgin and it was a place I had always hoped to visit. During the homily, I was waiting in line to confess, but just when I was about to go, the priest stopped hearing confessions, and I offered everything to God the Father. Without a doubt, this visit touched me deeply.
Por último fue una visita increible todos recibierón el Santo cuerpo de Cristo, tomamos muchas fotos, subimos a la terraza recorrimos todo el lugar que era bastante increíble y maravilloso, sin duda alguna a todas las personas nos toco, lo mas importante fue contemplar de cerca la Mariofanía de la Virgen de Coromoto que lloré tanto al verla sin duda este lugar ha sido de los mejores que visitado y la experiencia fue totalmente maravillosa.
Finally, it was an incredible visit. Everyone received the Holy Body of Christ, we took lots of photos, went up to the terrace, and toured the entire place, which was quite incredible and wonderful. Without a doubt, it touched all of us. The most important thing was to see up close the Mariophany of Our Lady of Coromoto. I cried so much when I saw it. Without a doubt, this place has been one of the best I have ever visited, and the experience was totally wonderful.
