En esta pasada semana, santa decidí realizar la visita de los 7 templos o de los 7 pasos de nuestro señor Jesucristo, la cual es una tradición para todos los cristianos católicos en poder vivir y experimentar esa visita de los 7 monumentos en donde está expuesto Jesús sacramentado, por eso que desde muy temprano en la mañana a las 7:00 de la mañana salí en camino con mi papá desde la parroquia más lejana del municipio San Francisco, adentrándonos por todas las zonas y podrá hacer este recorrido de los 7 templos sin duda alguna fue una experiencia bastante espectacular, que no había realizado desde el 2019 ,es decir, ya tenía más de 7 años sin poder realizarla y sin duda alguna fue bastante hermosa.
Last week, during Holy Week, I decided to undertake the pilgrimage to the seven churches or the seven stations of the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is a tradition for all Roman Catholics to experience and take part in this pilgrimage to the seven sites where the Blessed Sacrament is displayed, so very early in the morning at 7:00 am I set off with my dad from the furthest parish in the municipality of San Francisco, travelling through all the areas to complete this tour of the 7 churches. Without a doubt, it was a truly spectacular experience, one I hadn’t done since 2019; in other words, it had been more than seven years since I’d been able to do it, and it was undoubtedly quite beautiful.
Primeramente visitamos la iglesia purísima madre de Dios y San Benito de palermo del sector, el bajo en nuestros municipios San Francisco al entrar, la iglesia se encontraba un poco vacía, sin embargo, habían unas personas realizando el santo Rosario a la virgen, María, el monumento está bastante sencillo y hermoso donde se respiraba una paz bastante profunda, sin duda alguna, ya que no había muchas personas fue un encuentro único de encuentro con papá Dios y a pesar de que el monumento estaba bastante modesto este era sencillo, reflexivo me encantó sin duda alguna.
First, we visited the Church of the Immaculate Mother of God and Saint Benedict of Palermo in the Bajo district of our municipality of San Francisco. Upon entering, the church was rather empty, however, there were a few people reciting the Holy Rosary to the Virgin Mary. The shrine is quite simple and beautiful, and one could feel a profound sense of peace there. Without a doubt, as there weren’t many people, it was a unique encounter with God the Father, and although the shrine was quite modest, it was simple and contemplative; I loved it without a doubt.
Luego nos dirigimos al segundo templo o monumento que era la iglesia santísimo Cristo, pero esta estaba no cerrada estaba cerrada y nos dirigimos a la Santo Domingo de Guzmán en la urbanización, la Coromoto, en este lugar, en particular, habían bastantes personas rezando en el monumento, por lo que se, me dificultó bastante poder ingresar hasta el mismo y poder ponerme de rodillas. Solo me puse de rodillas desde la parte de afuera del monumento y pude observar de cierta forma a lo lejos el hermoso monumento que se veía bastante sofisticado y delicado.
We then headed to the second temple or monument, which was the Church of the Holy Christ, but it was closed, so we went to the Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán in the Coromoto housing estate. At this particular spot, there were quite a few people praying at the monument, which made it rather difficult for me to get right up to it and kneel down. I simply knelt down outside the monument and was able to gaze from a distance at the beautiful monument, which looked quite sophisticated and delicate.
Luego fuiamos al tercer templo que era la Iglesia San Juan Bautista en la Urbanización San Francisco en este también habían bastante personas e incluso muchas de ellas se encontraban orando y cantando, me encanto ver como esta tradición de los 7 templos este año estaba con bastante cantidad de personas, el poder realizarla con mi papá fue también un gran regalo.
We then went to the third church, which was the Church of St John the Baptist in the San Francisco estate. There were quite a few people there too, and many of them were praying and singing. I loved seeing how this ‘Seven Churches’ tradition had attracted such a large crowd this year, and being able to take part in it with my dad was also a wonderful gift.
Pase a la cuarta iglesia o mumento la cual era la Iglesia San Felipe Neri en la Urbanización San Felipe, también habían muchas personad rezando el Rosario en este punto el monumento tenía tres pantallas gigantescas una en el centro y una en cada lateral de la pasión de cristo con pantallas incluida, arreglo majestuoso de flores rojas bastante hermosas fascinantes por completo con ángeles puestos en el monumento cubierto con una alfombras blanca que asemejaba una nube.
I moved on to the fourth church or monument, which was the Church of San Felipe Neri in the San Felipe residential area, there were also many people praying the Rosary at this spot; the monument had three gigantic screens one in the centre and one on each side depicting the Passion of Christ, complete with screens; a majestic arrangement of beautiful red flowers, utterly captivating, with angels placed on the monument, which was covered with a white carpet resembling a cloud.
El quinto monumento fue en la iglesia Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y fue uno de los favoritos que más me gustaron puesto que este fue inspirado en los 800 años de San Francisco de Asís, celebrando el año Franciscano, este tenía un poco natural que era una fuente tenía animales aunado a ello de caídas de aguas totalmente natuales y hermosas me fascinarón por completo, sin duda alguna que hermoso era recordanos el amor de San Francisco de Asís por los animales y toda la creación de Dios.
The fifth monument was at the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and it was one of my absolute favourites, as it was inspired by the 800th anniversary of St Francis of Assisi, marking the Franciscan Year. It had a natural feel to it, featuring a fountain with animals, combined with completely natural and beautiful waterfalls. I was utterly captivated by it; without a doubt, it was a beautiful reminder of St Francis of Assisi’s love for animals and all of God’s creation.
El sexto monumento fue en Maracaibo justamente en el sector haticos por debajo en la Iglesia Nuestra Señora de La Asunción, este fue mi segundo momento favorito pues se llamaba el jardin del amado y la Virgen María pues representa ese rol protagónico que tuvo la virgen María en Jesucristo, inspirado en el libro Cantar de los Cantare, habían bastante jóvenes orando en el, realice mis oraciones y al despedirme me dieron una pequeña leyenda de lo que esxpresaba este momento también tenía caida de agua.
The sixth monument was in Maracaibo, specifically in the Haticos district, just below the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption. this was my second favourite moment as it was called the Garden of the Beloved and the Virgin Mary, representing the leading role played by the Virgin Mary in the life of Jesus Christ, inspired by the Song of Songs. There were quite a few young people praying there; I said my prayers and, as I was leaving, they gave me a brief explanation of what this moment represented; there was also a waterfall.
Por último fue al último monumento que fue la iglesia Jesús Nazareno de Manzanillo al llegar había un pequeño monumento que nos hablaba de San Francisco de Asís en sus 800 años, luego en toda la puerta de entrada había una leyenda que explicaba el monumento que este estaba en torno a los 400 años del vaticano, podiamos ver la tierra los pilares del vaticano y su estructura, en este último estaban realizando, oraciones, suplicas y canto con guitarra un momento único de encuentro con Dios.
Finally, we went to the last monument, the Church of Jesús Nazareno in Manzanillo. On arrival, there was a small monument commemorating the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis of Assisi, then, across the entrance, there was an inscription explaining that the monument was built around the time of the Vatican’s 400th anniversary; we could see the ground, the pillars of the Vatican and its structure. Inside, people were offering prayers, supplications and singing accompanied by a guitar –a unique moment of encounter with God.
