Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un nuevo post bastante genial, esta vez de un nuevo set de fotos de una visita muy genial que tuve al Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Científicas (IVIC). Esta visita la tuve el día de ayer con una profesora y compañeros de una de las materias que estoy viendo. Yo conocía el IVIC desde hace muchos años, paso por la entrada debido a que queda en la vía de la universidad hasta mi casa. La última vez que subí fue hace más de 10 años y solo fui a un lugar en específico, realmente no sabía lo extenso que es el lugar y la gran cantidad de cosas que posee ya que allí se albergan las investigaciones científicas a nivel nacional, en diversas áreas como la física, química, biología, ingeniería, geografía, energía nuclear, entre muchas otras cosas. Fuimos para ver áreas específicas que se relacionen con nuestra carrera y la verdad es que vi muchas oportunidades.
Lo que más me encanta apreciar de los lugares que visito son las vistas, y el IVIC es una montaña extensa y alta que alberga demasiadas edificaciones de diversas cosas, ya que hay de verdad un montón de tareas que se hacen allí, por lo que muchas personas que se especializan en el área científica tienen oportunidad de laborar allí. A su vez una de las personas que trabaja en el Instituto, nos quiso dar un tour por una universidad que queda por esas extensas áreas, ya que vimos a algunos estudiantes jóvenes por allí. Es una universidad nueva que no conocía y que posee carreras netamente científicas, y es un lugar realmente hermoso y moderno, por lo menos para mí. Tiene reconocimiento biométrico, pizarras que son televisores grandes y táctiles, infraestructura futurista y muchas áreas de recreación para los estudiantes. Me encantó esta visita y me hizo enamorarme más de mi carrera, espero que a ustedes les gusten las fotos que les comparto el día de hoy!
Hello again! Today I come to you with a pretty cool new post, this time featuring a new set of photos from a really cool visit I had to the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC). I made this visit yesterday with a professor and classmates from one of the courses I'm taking. I've known about the IVIC for many years, as I pass by the entrance on my way from the university to my house. The last time I went up there was more than 10 years ago, and I only went to one specific place. I didn't really know how big the place is and how many things it has, since it houses national scientific research in various areas such as physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, geography, nuclear energy, among many other things. We went to see specific areas related to our degree program, and I saw many opportunities.
What I love most about the places I visit are the views, and IVIC is a large, high mountain that houses many different types of buildings, as there is a lot of work to be done there, so many people who specialize in the scientific field have the opportunity to work there. One of the people who works at the Institute wanted to give us a tour of a university located in those extensive areas, as we saw some young students there. It is a new university that I did not know about and that offers purely scientific degrees, and it is a really beautiful and modern place, at least for me. It has biometric recognition, large touchscreen TVs as blackboards, futuristic infrastructure, and many recreational areas for students. I loved this visit and it made me fall even more in love with my career. I hope you like the photos I am sharing with you today!
