Como siempre digo “El ciclismo, no es solo andar en bicicleta”. Por supuesto, la pasión por la disciplina deportiva, nos lleva a lugares que jamás pensaríamos en ir y eso es lo sustancioso de estas travesías.

Hacer muchos kilómetros en bicicleta tiene un consumo de energía bastante grande y cuando llegas a estos almacenes de pueblo, te quieres comer el mundo. Alejados de la gran ciudad, aquí puedes dejar tus bicicletas sin ningún tipo de ataduras, ya que nadie toca lo que no es de uno. Lo vivimos en varios lugares y el señor del almacén “El Gallegos” nos los dijo nuevamente. Igualmente, como todo en la vida, siempre existen excepciones y acontecimientos extraordinarios.
! [English] Cycling many kilometers on a bicycle consumes a lot of energy and when you arrive at these village warehouses, you want to eat the world. Away from the big city, here you can leave your bikes without any kind of ties, since no one touches what is not yours. We experienced this in several places and the gentleman from the store "El Gallegos" told us again. Like everything in life, there are always exceptions and extraordinary events.

Pasen a la casa y dispongan del baño si lo precisan. Braian dice: Primero quiero abonarle y luego almorzamos. El hombre un tanto indignado le responde: No hijo, tranquilo, que si no puedes pagar, la casa invita. Estas acciones de almacenes de pueblo, para nosotros, no son habituales. Pero créanme, que sucede.

En el fondo de su casa tiene una cancha de pádel, una disciplina deportiva que cuando era estudiante lo practicaba muy a menudo. Me trajo lindos recuerdos. Bien, la cuestión fue que nos dispusimos a devorar nuestro pedido. Sandwich de jamón y queso enorme, con mayonesa y por si fuera poco, unos pastelitos caseros, para acompañar el mate. Cuando realizas fondo largo, puedes comer tranquilamente porque lo vas a quemar. Por supuesto, esto es una percepción mía.
! [English] In the back of his house he has a paddle tennis court, a sport he used to practice very often when he was a student. It brought back fond memories. Well, the point was that we set out to devour our order. A huge ham and cheese sandwich with mayonnaise and, to top it off, some homemade pastries to go with the mate. When you have a long bottom, you can eat calmly because you are going to burn it. Of course, this is my perception.
Luego de pasar aproximadamente 1:30 minutos en el lugar y agradeciendo su gran hospitalidad, nos dispusimos a retirarnos del lugar, no sin antes recorrer un poco el pueblo. El señor nos dio varias indicaciones. Bayan a la vieja estación de trenes que está en condiciones originales y les va a encantar. Díganle que van de parte mía y seguro los dejan entrar. Allá fuimos.
! [English] After spending approximately 1:30 minutes in the place and thanking them for their great hospitality, we decided to leave the place, but not before walking around the town. Un pueblo tranquilo, con poco movimiento, ideal para pasar un fin de semana en paz. Recorrimos sus calles de tierra, aunque las principales tenían asfalto. Pasamos por la plazoleta San Joaquín y Santa Ana, donde frente a la misma, estaba la iglesia del pueblo, que raramente por ser domingo, estaba cerrada. Nos hubiese encantado conocerlo por dentro. Al llegar a la vieja estación de tren, también estaba cerrado y nadie nos atendió. Por supuesto, es un gran motivo para volver al pueblo y también visitar a nuestro ahora amigo del almacén, llamado Walter.
! [English] A quiet town, with little movement, ideal to spend a weekend in peace. We walked along its dirt streets, although the main ones were asphalted. We passed by the small square San Joaquín and Santa Ana, where in front of it was the town church, which was rarely closed because it was Sunday. We would have loved to see it from the inside. When we arrived at the old train station, it was also closed and nobody attended us. Of course, this is a great reason to return to the village and visit our now friend from the warehouse, named Walter.
Siempre me pregunto si podría vivir en estos lugares, con poca señal de internet y mucha paz. Por lo que hago el internet es fundamental, pero me atrae en demasía vivir en un pueblo así. Árboles por doquier, tranquilidad al máximo y una vida que transcurre más lenta. Me encantaría intentarlo o mínimamente tener la experiencia.
! [English] I always wonder if I could live in these places, with little internet signal and a lot of peace. As far as I do the internet is essential, but I am very attracted to live in a town like this. Trees everywhere, tranquility to the maximum and a life that goes slower. I would love to try it or at least have the experience.
Cuando estábamos saliendo del pueblo, encontramos una escuela, que para nuestra sorpresa estaba sus puertas principales abiertas de par en par. Bajamos y pasamos al patio de la misma y realizamos algunas capturas. Te imaginas el colegio que está a la vuelta de tu casa si dejan todo abierto, que pasaría. Aquí, no sé por qué razón sucede.
! [English] As we were leaving the village, we found a school, which to our surprise had its main doors wide open. We went down and went into the schoolyard and took some pictures. Can you imagine the school around the corner from your house if they leave everything open, what would happen. Here, I don't know why it happens.
Una experiencia que solo lo puedo hacer con mi bicicleta y por supuesto tengo muchos pueblos por conocer y cada uno con sus características.
