Ese día tenían una exposición dedicada a Picasso y no podía perder la oportunidad de sumergirme en la mente de uno de los artistas más influyentes del siglo XX. Esta exposición no es solo una colección de obras, sino un recorrido por las diferentes etapas y evoluciones que definieron su genio creativo.

Greetings my dear blogger bee! Today I want to tell you about my experience at the Museum of Culture in the city of Valencia.... This day they would have an exhibition dedicated to Picasso and I could not miss the opportunity to immerse myself in the mind of one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century. This exhibition is not only a collection of works, but a journey through the different stages and evolutions that defined his creative genius.
Había muchas secciones diferentes distribuidas por todo el museo donde no solo se podían ver las diferentes pinturas, esculturas y otras obras, sino también un recorrido por las distintas etapas y evoluciones de su creatividad. Una de las cosas que más me gustó fue que tenían una sección interactiva, donde no solo se podían observar las obras, sino también participar en la dinámica que se desarrollaba durante la exposición.
There were many different sections distributed throughout the museum where you could not only see the different paintings, sculptures and other works but also a journey through the different stages and evolutions of his creativity. One of the things that I loved the most was that they had a section that was interactive so you could not only observe the works but also participate in the dynamics that they would have during the exhibition.
No me pude resistir y, como amante de la pintura, quise participar en una de las actividades que consistían en elegir tres colores diferentes de pintura y crear con ellos mi propia obra de arte sobre un cristal. Tenía, por supuesto, un límite de tiempo, ya que había mucha más gente que quería participar. Claro que justo en ese momento de explotar mi creatividad, mi mente se quedó en blanco 🤦🏻♀️, pero pensé en algo que me encanta y que con solo tres colores de pintura podría hacer, así que elegí que mi obra de ese día sería un atardecer y quedé fascinada.
I could not resist and as a lover of making paintings, I wanted to do one in one of the activities that consisted of choosing three different colors of paints and create with them your own work of art on a glass, having of course a time limit as there were many more people who wanted to have their turn to be part of this. Of course just at that moment of exploiting my creativity my mind went totally blank 🤦🏻♀️ but I thought of something that I really like and that with only three colors of paints I could do it, so I chose that my work of this day would be a sunset and I was fascinated.
Sin duda, recorrer todo el museo y apreciar la cuidada selección de piezas para la exposición fue maravilloso. Desde mi punto de vista, logró resaltar por completo la influencia del realismo y el impresionismo que Pablo Picasso expresó en cada obra. Quería tomar muchas más fotos para inmortalizar este momento y poder revisitar estas maravillosas obras cuando quisiera, pero estaba tan concentrada admirando todo lo que me rodeaba que solo pude tomar algunas. Sin embargo, disfruté muchísimo de esta experiencia y espero con ansias la próxima exhibición. 🎨✨
Without a doubt, walking through the entire museum and being able to appreciate the careful selection of pieces for the exhibition was wonderful and from my point of view, it completely managed to highlight the influence of realism and impressionism that Pablo Piccaso expressed through each work. I wanted to take many more pictures to have this moment captured and to be able to revisit these wonderful works whenever I wanted but I was so concentrated admiring everything around me that I could only take a few. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and look forward to the next exhibition. 🎨✨
