Aprovechando que hoy estuve en el C.C. Sambil por el cumple de Matías, pasé por dos de sus papelerías buscando algunos materiales que necesitaba para un nuevo proyecto de renovación en casa, y aunque la idea no era comprarlos, al ver todo lo que me hacía falta y que estaban a buen precio no dudé en traerlos a casa.
Lo que estaba buscando era básicamente pintura a la tiza color menta, que finalmente fue el color que elegimos (entre cian, mostaza y menta) para incorporar un toque de color a nuestro hogar después del cambio de pintura de las paredes, pero en caso de no encontrarla ya tenía listo mi plan "B", y era traer pintura acrílica y tiza, aparte de papel coctac de ese que imita la madera.
Así que en mi búsqueda, la primera papelería a la que entramos fue Motarro, y ahí me distraje con la gran variedad de pinturas y materiales para manualidades por un largo rato, y cuando por fin me concentré en lo que estaba buscando me di cuenta que a pesar de la gran variedad de pinturas lamentablemente no tenían la que yo necesitaba, pero lo que sí tenían era pintura acrílica verde menta, y tiza, así que sin pensarlo mucho decidí llevarlas, lo que fue un gran error, porque en cuanto salí de ahí y entré en "Mundo Escolar", en medio de la gran variedad de pinturas que tenían, pude ver una pintura la tiza en color menta que era justo lo que necesitaba, pero ya el daño estaba hecho, así que no le di mucha importancia a la cosa y seguí mirando qué más había.
Y para mi sorpresa me encontré con el papel contac que necesitaba y con un rollo de corcho adhesivo que aunque no estaba en mi lista inmediata, no pensé pudiese encontrar en la isla, pero como no lo estoy necesitando por ahora, solo tomé el rollo de papel contac, y ya con esto tenía todo para la restauración que quiero hacer en casa.
Así que resumiendo, compré: pintura acrílica verde menta en 1,5$, tiza (para hacer pintura a la tiza) en 9.99$, y papel contact imitación de madera en 4$, y con esto ya puedo puedo activarme mañana con este nuevo proyecto.
Y ya para cerrar este día, porque estoy realmente agotada, quisiera preguntarles si tienen alguna idea de qué se trata este nuevo proyecto. Los leo en los comentarios.
Taking advantage of the fact that today I was at the Sambil Shopping Mall for Matías' birthday, I stopped by two of their stationery stores looking for some materials I needed for a new renovation project at home, and although the idea was not to buy them, when I saw everything I needed and that they were at a good price I didn't hesitate to bring them home.
What I was looking for was basically mint colored chalk paint, which finally was the color we chose (between cyan, mustard and mint) to incorporate a touch of color to our home after the change of paint on the walls, but in case I couldn't find it I already had my plan “B ” ready, and that was to bring acrylic paint and chalk, apart from coctac paper that imitates wood.
So in my search, the first stationery store we entered was Motarro, and there I was distracted by the wide variety of paints and craft materials for a long time, and when I finally focused on what I was looking for I realized that despite the wide variety of paints unfortunately they did not have the one I needed, but what they did have was mint green acrylic paint, and chalk, so without thinking too much I decided to take them, which was a big mistake, because as soon as I got out of there and entered “Mundo Escolar ”, in the middle of the great variety of paints they had, I could see a mint color chalk paint that was just what I needed, but the damage was already done, so I didn't give much importance to the thing and continued looking what else there was.
And to my surprise I found the contac paper I needed and a roll of adhesive cork that although it was not on my immediate list, I did not think I could find on the island, but as I am not needing it for now, I just took the roll of contac paper, and with this I had everything for the restoration I want to do at home.
So to sum up, I bought: mint green acrylic paint for 1.5$, chalk (to make chalk paint) for 9.99$, and contact paper imitating wood for 4$, and with this I can start tomorrow with this new project.
And to close this day, because I am really exhausted, I would like to ask you if you have any idea what this new project is about. I'll read you in the comments.
