A good part of our identity as nationals of a country is given thanks to the various cultural activities and traditions that are passed from generation to generation, and in my country Venezuela, this is something that despite the years and the various problems we live, has been preserved, thanks to educational institutions and cultural promoters.
And just today I want to show you through 
Among those traditions that are still alive in Venezuela, despite the strong economic crisis we are going through, is what we know as "Bandas Shows", which are groups that concentrate different activities, such as music and dance.
Generally in our country they are formed by children and teenagers, although I have seen many times bands formed only by adults, but it is not the most common. So it is really nice to see so many children and young people performing a super varied repertoire of music, not only national but international, and even played the theme song of the famous series "La Casa de Papel".
From the Bandas I love their beautiful uniforms and the coordination with which they all move to the music, which I can say for sure, it is not something easy to do, because playing an instrument and also perform a choreography while you do it has its degree of difficulty, but these guys make it look super easy.
Another thing that has always caught my attention are the "bastoneras" or "batuteras" and the corps de ballet, which is simply incredible, to see the skill with which they manage to move, and throw the "batutas" into the air and then return to their hands and do with them different maneuvers or movements is really quite a show.
In this case the activity took place inside a supermarket, so the batuteras could not make a great demonstration, but it was still a beautiful act. They were beautiful, besides moving with a lot of grace, which is the main characteristics that these girls should have.
While I was watching them, I was detailing their costumes, their instruments and I was only thinking about the enormous effort that parents and directors of the different bands that are still standing in the country must make together, to be able to provide their musicians and make art, because without a doubt that is what they do.
In fact, I was commenting with my
husband how great it is, that there are still people who continue to strive, not only to keep our traditions alive, but to take children off the street and put an instrument in their hands, to fill their lives with culture and music and give them other opportunities, other horizons. The truth is that they do an incredible job, and even more so that there are places that open their doors to them.
Buena parte de nuestra identidad como nacionales de un país viene dada gracias a las distintas actividades culturales, y tradiciones que van pasando de generación en generación, y en mi país Venezuela, esto es algo que a pesar de los años y los distintos problemas que vivimos, se ha logrado conservar, gracias a las instituciones educativas y promotores culturales.

Dentro de esas tradiciones que aún se mantienen vivas en Venezuela, a pesar de la fuerte crisis económica que atravesamos, se encuentra lo que conocemos como "Bandas Shows", que son agrupaciones que concentran diferentes actividades, como la música y el baile.
Generalmente en nuestro país están conformadas por niños y adolescentes, aunque he visto muchas veces Bandas conformadas solo por adultos, pero no es lo más común. Así que resulta realmente lindo, ver a tantos niños y jovencitos interpretar un repertorio súper variado de música, no solo nacional sino internacional, y es que hasta tocaron el tema musical de la famosa serie "La Casa de Papel".
De las Bandas amo sus preciosos uniformes y la coordinación con la que se mueven todos al son de la música, cosa que puedo decir con toda seguridad, no es algo fácil de hacer, pues tocar un instrumento y además ejecutar una coreografía mientras lo haces tiene su grado de dificultad, pero estos chicos lo hacen ver súper fácil.
Otra de las cosas que siempre ha llamado mucho mi atención son las bastoneras o batuteras y el cuerpo de baile, que es simplemente increíble, ver la habilidad con que logran moverse, y lanzar las "batutas" al aire para luego regresar a sus manos y hacer con ellas distintas maniobras o movimientos es en serio todo un espectáculo.
En este caso la actividad se realizó dentro de un supermercado, por lo que las batuteras no pudieron hacer una gran demostración, pero no por eso dejó de ser un acto hermoso. Estaban preciosas, además de moverse con mucha gracia, que es las principales características que deben tener estas niñas.
Mientras los veía, detallaba sus trajes, sus instrumentos y solo pensaba en el enorme esfuerzo que deben hacer en conjunto padres y directores de las diferentes bandas que aún siguen de pie en el país, para poder dotar a sus músicos y hacer arte, porque sin lugar a dudas es lo que hacen.
De hecho comentaba con mi
esposo lo genial que es, que aún existan personas que se siguen esforzando, no solo por mantener vivas nuestras tradiciones, sino por sacar de la calle a los niños y poner un instrumento en sus manos, llenar sus vidas de cultura y música y brindarles otras oportunidades, otros horizontes. La verdad es un trabajo increíble el que hacen, más aún que haya lugares que les abren sus espacios para que podamos disfrutar de ellos.
Lamentablemente, Miranda no pudo ver a la Banda, ya que estaba esperando su turno de participar, pero me hubiese encantado que viera lo bellos que se veían todos en perfecta sincronía, tocando y bailando al ritmo de la música.
La verdad fue una tarde muy linda, además que los niños lo hicieron increíble.
