Para los que no lo saben, la Feria del Turismo Anzoátegui es un evento donde se impulsa y da a conocer las diferentes actividades y localidades que ofrecen servicios o espacios recreacionales, ya sea que tengan ríos, playas, excursiones u hoteles. Este año se llevó a cabo en el Hotel Paradise de Puerto La Cruz, y más allá de solo ser una feria con stands, fue un evento súper completo: hubo concurso parrillero, presentaciones de baile, maratón y hasta concierto.
Por mi parte solo pude asistir un día, el domingo 07 de septiembre, pero valió totalmente la pena ✨.
Al llegar, te encontrabas con un pasillo decorado con un pequeño altar a la Virgen del Valle, rodeado de elementos de pescadores. Luego, al entrar, había pantallas colocadas en las paredes, el piso y el techo ¡una experiencia inmersiva total! 💡🎥.
Después de atravesar ese túnel visual, se llegaba a una escalera con los nombres de todos los municipios del estado Anzoátegui 📍. Por accidente no me senté en “Barcelona”, pero la foto igual quedó hermosa 😅📸.
Una vez superadas las escaleras, comenzaban los stands. Muchos ofrecían souvenirs, actividades interactivas e incluso productos en venta, pero mis favoritos sin duda fueron los de Guanta y Barcelona 💛💙.
Guanta siempre destaca por su presentación: este año montaron una cascada con agua real, decorada con cangrejitos. Y Barcelona, aunque tuvo una decoración más sencilla, se robó el show con una pequeña obra de terror inspirada en una historia local 👻 (no tengo fotos porque el flash arruinaba el ambiente misterioso).
Ah, y no puedo dejar de mencionar el área de la piscina, donde había más stands. Guanta (nuevamente) estaba repartiendo ceviche y ¡Dios mío qué delicia! 😋. Ciudad Orinoco también sorprendió con un puente decorativo ideal para tomarse fotos — 10/10 📷.
Otra cosa que me encantó fue un artesano indígena 🪶 que tenía su propio espacio, tejiendo bolsos y vendiendo piezas hermosas. Por supuesto, Mafer no se resistió y compró un llavero de tortuga y unos zarcillos de guacamaya (que ya prometió prestarme 😄).
También visitamos el stand de Violetta Cosmetic, donde una amiga estaba trabajando. Allí me hice un test de piel y Mafer aprovechó para comprarme una crema hidratante y una leche limpiadora para ella, más adelante les contaré qué tal me fue con esos productos.
Para cerrar el recorrido, nos sentamos en la cafetería del hotel ☕. Un señor muy amable nos invitó a compartir su mesa (ya no había más asientos) y, conversando, descubrí que era gerente del Hotel Rasil. Recién había salido de su conferencia ¡sí, hubo conferencias y yo ni enterada! 🤭. Me comentó que el hotel está bastante recuperado y dejó en mí una idea genial… pero eso se los contaré en otro post 😉✨.
A eso de las 7 PM ya estábamos listas para irnos, y madre mía, la cola para entrar era enorme. Por suerte fuimos temprano y pudimos disfrutar el evento con calma, buena compañía y muchas fotos bonitas 🥰📷.
Fue un día lleno de cultura, color y buena vibra. Sin duda, la Feria del Turismo es uno de esos eventos que te hacen sentir orgullosa de tu tierra 💛💙❤️.

Although it’s been a little while since this event, I just had to share it with you 💕.
For those who don’t know, the Anzoátegui Tourism Fair is an event that promotes and showcases different activities and destinations that offer recreational spaces and services whether it’s rivers, beaches, excursions, or hotels. This year it took place at the Hotel Paradise in Puerto La Cruz, and it was more than just a fair with stands it was a full-on experience: there was a barbecue contest, dance performances, a marathon, and even a concert.
I could only attend one day, Sunday, September 7th, but it was so worth it ✨.
When you arrived, the entrance was decorated with a small altar dedicated to the Virgin of the Valley, surrounded by elements representing fishermen 🐟. Then, inside, there were screens covering the walls, floor, and ceiling a totally immersive experience! 💡🎥.
After walking through that digital tunnel, you reached a staircase with the names of all the municipalities in the state of Anzoátegui 📍. I accidentally didn’t sit on “Barcelona,” but the photo still turned out great 😅📸.
Once past the stairs, the stands began. Many offered souvenirs, fun activities, and even items for sale, but my favorites were definitely Guanta and Barcelona 💛💙.
Guanta always stands out for its presentation this year they recreated a waterfall with real water, decorated with little crabs. And Barcelona, though simpler in decoration, totally stole the show with a mini horror performance inspired by a local story 👻 (no photos, since the flash would’ve ruined the spooky mood!).
Oh, and I can’t forget the pool area, where there were even more stands. Guanta (again!) was serving ceviche, and oh my goodness, it was so delicious! 😋. Ciudad Orinoco also impressed everyone with a decorative bridge that was perfect for pictures definitely a 10/10 📷.
Another thing I loved was an indigenous artisan 🪶 who had his own stand, weaving bags and selling beautiful handmade pieces. Of course, Mafer couldn’t resist and bought a little turtle keychain and some parrot earrings (which she promised to lend me later 😄).
We also stopped by the Violetta Cosmetic booth, where a friend of mine was working. I got a quick skin test done, and Mafer ended up buying me a moisturizer and a cleansing milk for herself I’ll tell you all about those products in another post.
To wrap up our visit, we sat down at the hotel café ☕. A very kind gentleman invited us to join his table (since there were no seats left 😅), and as we chatted, I found out he was the manager of Hotel Rasil. He had just finished his conference yes, there were conferences too, and I had no idea!. He mentioned the hotel has been greatly restored and shared something that gave me a great idea… but that’s a story for another post 😉✨.
By around 7 PM, we were ready to head home and oh my, the line to get in was huge. Thankfully, we went early enough to enjoy everything peacefully, with great company and plenty of beautiful pictures 🥰📷.
It was a day full of culture, color, and good vibes. Without a doubt, the Tourism Fair is one of those events that make you feel proud of where you come from 💛💙❤️.
