I’ve found that the only way to motivate myself to delete some old photos so that I can clear up my phone and take new ones is to make these posts where I can share stories behind the pictures.
Think about that though, getting paid to clear up your phone data! There truly is no place like Hive!

Every summer I go to the beach about an hour outside of Tokyo. Area I got two more stuff and has this quirky temple in the back, You can see the ocean. I used footage of this temple for a bunch of YouTube shorts last year. If you’d like the vibe of it, you can find more there.

Our neighborhood has a lot of pop up shops. Many people dont have money to pay the monthly rent on a physical location but have physical goods, clothing or food to sell so they pick the best days for them, usually a weekend or holiday or 3-5 weekdays in a row and open up somewhere.
This Thai pop up restaruant is amazing! He only opens twice a month and now that I mention it, he may be open tomorrow! I guess i know what I’m eating.

I often forget to take pictures of food that I want to share with friends in other countries. This time after forgetting to snap a pic of some really spicy Japanese Indian fusion, I took a picture of my empty plate as a joke

I don’t know what this is doing in my phone, it’s just a funny meme came across, a pretty twisted advertisement for a funeral home.

I forgot this guy’s name, but he opened for my friends band. Imagine if Anthony Keidas from Red Hot chili peppers ate his other bandmates and absorbed their skills. And imagine he kept his demeanor and maybe he turned it up a knotch. That’s what his performance was like. Good times.

Someone I know makes her own clothing out of used clothes. She rips and patches things together. She taught me this weaving technique and I tried it, but I accidentally made my shirt half the size it was before so afterwards I had to throw it out.
These are screenshots from my music video (link at the bottom). I was looking for a potential thumbnail I guess. Lots of wonderful memories of concerts and art events we did.
Here i am with a wig. I have no idea what thr contrxt was but I’ll try any wig just for fun 🙃
This concert was awesome, a combination of traditional and modern music, reggae, minyo, hip hop, psychedelic rock, korean shamanic singing and south African GQOM. One of the best shows I’ve been to in Tokyo because of how well these different scenes crossed over. This is why i orefer small-medium sized shows.
Above: My first trip to the movie theater in 10 years. Its a small theater for indie films in the basement of a department store in Kichijoji. I dont like busy streets and department stores but that theater is cool!
Below: I eat almost as much Vietnamese and Thai food as I do Japanese food, despite living in Tokyo.
And lastly just a silly meme!
Here is the music video mentioned above:
