Yesterday was one of those days that are kept forever in the heart. It was the last performance of the circus at the Caricuao Ecological Park Complex,
And although my wife and I had been watching the invitation for days, the schedules had not matched us... until yesterday. We finally managed to fit everything together to give a special afternoon to our 4-year-old girl.
We wanted to make it different: we didn't tell him where we were going, just that he had a surprise. We walked away little by little, feeding the mystery at every step. When he arrived, his happy face said it all. At first, when he saw the structure, he thought it was a theater or a cinema. But the moment we told her, "My girl, this is a circus," her immediate, innocent and perfect response was, "And the clowns where are they?». That was his wonderful way of understanding the magical place where he was.
While we were waiting, the children's music increased her excitement and a beautiful anxiety took over her. When the show finally started, everything turned into fantasy, magic and illusionism. The presenter, extremely eloquent and funny, took us from joke to joke, unleashing endless laughter. And when the clowns came out... our little girl's laughter just didn't stop.
The outdoor atmosphere in Caricuao gave us a perfect climate, good lighting and the convenience of a very affordable and accessible entrance. Between sweets and sweets, we enjoyed amazing jugglers and gymnasts whose acts left us with our mouths open.
Beyond the great show, it was a moment of total disconnection, a purely family and unforgettable space. This is how we completed our first experience together at the circus, a beautiful memory that stays with us forever.

Ayer fue un día de esos que se guardan para siempre en el corazón. Era la última función del circo en el Complejo Parque Ecológico Caricuao, y aunque mi esposa y yo llevábamos días viendo la invitación, los horarios no nos habían coincidido... hasta ayer. Por fin logramos cuadrar todo para regalarle una tarde especial a nuestra niña de 4 años.
Quisimos hacerlo diferente: no le dijimos a dónde íbamos, solo que tenía una sorpresa. Nos fuimos caminando poco a poco, alimentando el misterio en cada paso. Al llegar, su carita de felicidad lo dijo todo. Al principio, al ver la estructura, pensó que era un teatro o un cine. Pero en el momento en que le dijimos: «Mi niña, esto es un circo», su respuesta inmediata, inocente y perfecta fue: «¿Y los payasos dónde están?». Esa fue su maravillosa forma de entender el lugar mágico donde estaba.
Mientras esperábamos, la música infantil aumentaba su emoción y una hermosa ansiedad se apoderaba de ella. Cuando por fin empezó el show, todo se transformó en fantasía, magia e ilusionismo. El presentador, sumamente elocuente y divertido, nos llevó de chiste en chiste, desatando risas interminables. Y cuando salieron los payasos... la risa de nuestra pequeña simplemente no paró.
El ambiente al aire libre en Caricuao nos regaló un clima perfecto, buena iluminación y la comodidad de una entrada muy económica y accesible. Entre cotufas y caramelos, disfrutamos de malabaristas increíbles y de unos gimnastas cuyos actos nos dejaron con la boca abierta.
Más allá del gran espectáculo, fue un momento de desconexión total, un espacio puramente familiar e inolvidable. Así completamos nuestra primera experiencia juntos en el circo, un recuerdo hermoso que se queda con nosotros para siempre.
