Hoy tengo el placer de participar en esta iniciativa de la comunidad #lifestyle, en mi primer post aquí, en el que nos invitan a hablar de nuestras decoraciones y tradiciones navideñas. Les digo amigos que me encanta la navidad y cada vez que se acerca esta fecha empiezo a sentirme como una niña feliz pensando en todas las cosas que quiero hacer empezando por el árbol de navidad que ha sido para mi un reto cada año pensando en qué color y cómo lo voy a decorar, No sé cómo hay gente que no le gusta la navidad, pero eso lo respeto; así que este año comencé a decorar mi árbol de navidad tuve que tomar los mismos adornos que tenía de años anteriores porque les cuento que están muy caras, pero para que se viera diferente hicimos unos muñecos de navidad para ponerlos en él y el árbol se con estos muñecos se ve diferente, hermoso y muy tierno.

I tell you friends that I love Christmas and every time this date approaches I start to feel like a happy little girl thinking about all the things I want to do starting with the Christmas tree that has been a challenge for me every year thinking about what color and how I am going to decorate it, I don't know how there are people who don't like Christmas, but I respect that; So this year I started to decorate my Christmas tree I had to take the same ornaments I had from previous years because I tell you that they are very expensive, but to make it look different we made some Christmas dolls to put on it and the tree looks different, beautiful and very tender.
La época navideña es una de las más significativas del año y por eso la disfruto al máximo con mi familia; Aunque no hay que dejar de lado la parte religiosa ya que siempre hay que recordar el nacimiento de Jesús, para mí esta época es sinónimo de hermandad y buena vibra, porque cuando me pongo a decorar el árbol con mis hermanas siento el amor y la unión entre nosotras, creo que esta tradición no se debe perder, en mi familia solemos hacer varias cosas para esta fecha, A principios de octubre hacemos las primeras hallacas, el día 08 de diciembre el dia de la Inmaculada Concepción vamos a misa y nos colocamos los gorros para tomarnos fotos, terminando noviembre armamos el árbol mientras escuchamos gaitas y tomamos una botella de vino, son tantas cosas que hacemos en estos días, por eso digo que para mí la navidad son días de alegría, paz, amor, hermandad, esperanza ,unión y sobre todo de perdón.
Christmas time is one of the most significant times of the year and that's why I enjoy it to the fullest with my family; Although we must not leave aside the religious part because we must always remember the birth of Jesus, for me this time is synonymous with brotherhood and good vibes, because when I get to decorate the tree with my sisters I feel the love and unity between us, I believe that this tradition should not be lost, in my family we usually do several things for this date, In early October we make the first hallacas, On December 8th, the day of the Immaculate Conception we go to mass and we put on our hats to take pictures, at the end of November we put up the tree while we listen to bagpipes and drink a bottle of wine, there are so many things we do during these days, that is why I say that for me Christmas is a time of joy, peace, love, brotherhood, hope, union and above all forgiveness.
Todos los años, disfrutamos haciendo la preparación de las hallacas en familia y para hacer las hallacas nos reunimos y nos ponemos de acuerdo en cuántas vamos a colaborar ya que cada uno pone su granito de arena para cubrir los gastos, a pesar de ser una familia pequeña y queremos pasarla bien y pasar el mayor tiempo posible juntos, así que para la preparación de esta comida, nos dividimos en grupos para que cada persona se encargue de realizar una tarea específica. Por ejemplo, cuando se preparaban las hallacas, mi hermana preparaba el guiso, pero nosotros ayudábamos cortando los condimentos y añadiendo la sazón, y al día siguiente nos reunimos nuevamente para preparar las hallacas con mucha alegría.
Every year, we enjoy making the preparation of the hallacas as a family and to make the hallacas we get together and agree on how many we are going to collaborate since everyone puts their bit to cover the expenses, despite being a small family and we want to have a good time and spend as much time as possible together, so for the preparation of this meal, we divide into groups so that each person is responsible for performing a specific task. For example, when the hallacas were prepared, my sister would prepare the stew, but we would help by cutting the seasonings and adding the seasoning, and the next day we would get together again to prepare the hallacas with a lot of joy.
Otra tradición que tenemos en casa para celebrar estas fechas tan importantes es la reunión familiar para disfrutar juntos de una comida navideña y despedir el año viejo, hoy en día tenemos un almuerzo navideño, pero este año queremos hacer una cena para recibir el año nuevo, es emocionante estar todos juntos ese día, también en esos días tenemos un ritual desde hace 20 años es vestirnos de un color de ropa, aún no hemos decidido el color de este año y para nosotros tiene un significado especial, esperamos que nuestros descendientes sigan con los mismos rituales, ya que me encanta y es divertido, antes de hacer las fotos familiares junto al árbol. Luego, como es costumbre, vamos a la mesa y elegimos a un miembro de la familia para dar las gracias por la comida y pasar una velada muy divertida y feliz.
Another tradition we have at home to celebrate these important dates is the family reunion to enjoy a Christmas meal together and say goodbye to the old year, today we have a Christmas lunch, but this year we want to make a dinner to welcome the new year, it is exciting to be all together that day, also in those days we have a ritual for 20 years is to dress in a color of clothes, we have not yet decided the color this year and for us it has a special meaning, we hope our descendants continue with the same rituals, as I love it and it is fun, before making the family photos by the tree. Then, as usual, we go to the table and choose a family member to thank for the food and have a very fun and happy evening.
La Navidad es sinónimo de reconciliación, de amor, de amistad y de estar en paz con nosotros mismos y con los demás, la Navidad es un momento único donde todos debemos disfrutar.
