After a few cool days due to the fact that we are approaching the change of season, the temperature was in favor of a walk for a while, and I decided it would be a good idea to take advantage of a Sunday afternoon with the plan to visit one of the most important shopping malls in Palermo.
Of course, I loved the idea of taking pictures of the city while I was on my way there. The truth is that I have not visited the city in its entirety, because it is huge, but little by little one goes, through curiosity, discovering really beautiful new places.
Luego de unos días bastante frescos debido a que ya nos estamos acercando al cambio de estación del año, llegó un día en que la temperatura estuvo a favor para pasear un rato, y decidí que sería buena idea aprovechar una tarde de domingo con el plan de visitar uno de los shoppings más importantes de Palermo.
Eso sí, me encantó la idea de ir tomando fotografías de la ciudad mientras me dirigía hacia allí. Lo cierto es que no he recorrido en su totalidad la ciudad, porque es enorme, pero de a poco uno va, a través de la curiosidad, descubriendo lugares nuevos realmente hermosos.

There are many things to do in the city. I have seen this train many times, but I have never in my life been on it, nor do I know where it is going. Probably it is the fear of getting lost, but there is no doubt that it is an attraction that complements the city and it is nice to see this train of the San Martin line passing by.
There were many people strolling around and enjoying the day. Many families walking, others doing bike tours, something that definitely transmits peace and harmony to see that everything is calm. Although one doesn't know the other's plans, I know they will have managed to enjoy that day to the fullest.
Hay muchas cosas que hacer en la ciudad. He visto muchas veces ese tren, pero nunca en mi vida me he subido ni sé hacia donde se dirige. Probablemente sea el miedo a perderme, pero no hay dudas que es un atractivo que se complementa a la ciudad y que da gusto ver pasar a este tren de la línea San Martín.
Había mucha gente paseando también y disfrutando del día. Muchas familias caminando, otros haciendo recorridos en bicicleta, algo que definitivamente transmite paz y armonía al ver que todo está en calma. Aunque uno no sabe los planes del otro, sé que habrán logrado disfrutar de ese día en su totalidad.

The truth is that I didn't remember where Alto Palermo was located, so I had to open the map on my cell phone to realize that it was a few blocks past Plaza Italia. This square is ideal for a meeting point; in fact, it was where I met once before with some members of the Hive Argentina community, although we ended up walking to another of the larger squares.
This one in particular stands out for the statues that also add their own beauty to the square's surroundings. Day or night, there are always people enjoying the moment.
La verdad que no recordaba dónde estaba ubicado el Alto Palermo, así que tuve que abrir el mapa en el móvil para darme cuenta que era a unas cuantas cuadras después de pasar la Plaza Italia. Esta plaza es ideal para un punto de encuentro; de hecho, fue donde me reuní una anterior vez con algunos miembros de la comunidad de Hive Argentina, aunque terminamos caminando hacia otra de las plazas de mayores dimensiones.
En particular ésta resalta por las estatuas que también añaden su propia belleza sobre el entorno de la plaza. Sea de día o de noche, siempre hay gente disfrutando el momento.

It's amazing how the afternoon went by quickly. After walking several blocks, the sun was setting. Sunset was almost upon us, but at least we had reached the imposing shopping mall.
It had been many years since I had been here for a walk. If I remember correctly, the last time I came here was with my parents, about 14 years ago. Everything has changed a lot since then, but I think for the better, because it is something that continues to amaze me.
Es increíble como la tarde se fue pasando rápido. Luego de caminar varias cuadras, el sol se fue ocultando. El atardecer estaba casi encima, pero al menos ya había llegado al tan imponente shopping.
Hacía muchísimos años que no venía de paseo por aquí. Si no mal recuerdo, la última vez que vine fue con mis padres, hará más o menos unos 14 años. Todo ha cambiado mucho desde entonces, pero creo que para bien, pues es algo que sigue maravillándome.

It seemed that there were many families who intended to enjoy an afternoon stroll. There were also many young people who might be meeting up with their friends, others were going shopping. There is no denying that this shopping mall has an enormous attraction, as it is also gigantic everywhere you look at it.
Those who go shopping will probably find what they are looking for, as there is a great variety of products. In fact, if you look at that sign, it shows the latest Samsung cell phones, the latest range that includes artificial intelligence. As well as that, there are a lot of products that perhaps few people will be able to afford. I for one prefer to stay on the spectator side hahaha.
Al parecer había muchas familias que pretendían disfrutar de una tarde de paseo. También varios jóvenes que tal vez harían encuentros con sus amigos, otros irían de compras. No se puede negar que este shopping tiene un atractivo enorme, como también es gigantesco por donde se lo mire.
Probablemente quien vaya de compras encontrará lo que busca, pues hay mucha variedad de productos. De hecho, si observamos, ese cartel muestra la última novedad de móviles de Samsung, de la última gama que incluye inteligencia artificial. Así como ello, hay una gran cantidad de productos que tal vez poca gente podrá costear. Por mi parte prefiero mantenerme en el lado del espectador jajaja.

It is really striking how when entering the stores are focused mainly on aesthetics and care of the female face. Beyond being high quality products, which are even imported, there are many customers who go through there with the intention of highlighting their beauty regardless of the cost.
The distribution of the stores is more than successful, taking advantage of every available space to provide the best presentation of their products; something that somehow enhances the appearance of the shopping and its attractiveness.
Es realmente llamativo como al ingresar los comercios están enfocados mayormente a la estética y el cuidado del rostro femenino. Más allá de ser productos de alta calidad, que incluso son importados, hay muchas clientas que pasan por allí con la intención de lograr resaltar su belleza sin importar el costo.
La distribución de los comercios es más que acertada, aprovechando cada espacio que hay disponible para proveer la mejor presentación de sus productos; algo que de alguna manera enaltece la apariencia del shopping y su atractivo.

I was struck by the number of escalators distributed throughout the place. I don't really know what kind of premises each floor housed, because I have seen food stalls on several levels. However, it is a very interesting experience to walk through each space.
As I had said before, the place is huge, so it is a good idea to read those signs where directions are given, although it is something that is quite lacking and I think it should be improved, because you realize it because the business itself does its own advertising and not the shopping itself.
Me llamó la atención la cantidad de escaleras mecánicas que habían distribuidas por el lugar. No sé muy bien qué clase de locales albergaba cada piso, porque he visto puestos de comidas en varios niveles. Sin embargo, es una experiencia muy interesante recorrer cada espacio.
Como había dicho anteriormente, el lugar es enorme, así que es buena idea leer aquellos letreros en donde se brinda indicaciones, aunque es algo que carece bastante y pienso que se debería mejorar, pues te das cuenta porque el propio negocio hace su publicidad y no el shopping en sí.

There was also at first sight the presence of gastronomic establishments, focused on bakery. What caught my attention is that several of them had a French style, which makes me imagine how tasty their products are, including the French essence.
There were also other stores that were not delicacies, but also had striking names, which made me think that they came from that country. For example, the fragrances.
También estaba a simple vista la presencia de locales gastronómicos, centrados en lo que es la panadería. Lo que me llamó la atención es que varios de ellos tenían un estilo francés, lo que me hace imaginar lo rico que serán sus productos, incluyendo la esencia francesa.
También habían otros comercios que no eran de delicias, pero también tenían nombres llamativos, que hacían pensar que provenían de ese país. Por ejemplo las fragancias.

The presence of dishes that I never got to taste were the order of the day. I don't really know where they came from, but they seemed to be tasty at first sight. I think they also prepared some desserts, which I might try at some point.
I was just passing by looking for a restroom, so if I found this place it was by chance, or maybe I would have found it at some point. Just behind there was a sports store, and next to it, the super hidden restroom. I had to take that break to continue my journey.
La presencia de platos que nunca llegué a probar estaban a la orden del día. No sé muy bien su procedencia, pero parecía estar rico a simple vista. Creo que también preparaban algunos postres, que en algún momento tal vez me anime a probar.
Justo pasé por allí buscando un sanitario, así que si encontré este lugar fue de casualidad, o tal vez lo habría hallado en algún momento. Justo detrás había un negocio deportivo, y a su costado, el sanitario súper oculto. Debía hacer esa pausa para seguir viaje.

The shopping space is gigantic, so it takes a long time to go through it from beginning to end. If I am not mistaken, there are four levels, although I find the last two really impressive, as they are much more colorful.
Here the distribution of businesses is side by side, maintaining a route in which you can easily visualize the panorama. The decoration is very successful as far as I am concerned, giving it that delicate but at the same time technological touch, or at least contemporary.
El espacio del shopping es gigante, por lo que recorrerlo de principio a fin lleva un buen tiempo. Si no me equivoco se trata de cuatro niveles, aunque los dos últimos me parecen realmente impresionantes, pues son mucho más vistosos.
Aquí la distribución de negocios está uno al lado del otro, manteniendo un recorrido en el que puedes visualizar fácilmente el panorama que hay. La decoración es muy acertada en lo que mi opinión respecta, dándole ese toque delicado pero a la vez tecnológico, o al menos contemporáneo.

This floor before the last one, which is the one I like the most because there are many things that I find interesting. Especially the store where they sell books of all kinds. Although I don't read a lot, some titles catch my attention, so it's good to go through this store and be aware of what's new.
The good thing is that there are escalators that allow people to move without major inconveniences. As I am not an elevator person, I only have this other option or I can go up the stairs, although they communicate the places in a different way.
Este anteúltimo piso, que es el que más me gusta porque hay muchas cosas que me llegan a resultar de interés. Sobre todo el negocio en el que venden libros de toda clase. Si bien no soy de leer mucho, sí me llama la atención algunos títulos, así que es bueno recorrer este negocio y estar al tanto de las novedades.
Lo bueno es que hay escaleras mecánicas que permite desplazar a personas sin mayores inconvenientes. Como no soy de tomar el ascensor, solo me queda esta otra opción o subir las escaleras, aunque comunican los lugares de distinta manera.

Thinking that this was the top floor, I realized that there was one more staircase that would take me to the top level where it is exclusively about the food court. There were a lot of people concentrated there enjoying their order, and the businesses looked very attractive.
I also noticed that on the previous floor there were also food stores, but these were what is popularly known as fast food. For that reason, it is likely that on that floor you could find a McDonald's, or its similar one called Wendy's.
Pensando que ese era el último piso, me di cuenta que había otra escalera más que me llevaría al último nivel donde es exclusivamente sobre patio de comidas. Había mucha gente concentrada disfrutando su pedido, y los negocios se veían muy atractivos.
Me di cuenta también de que en el piso anterior también habían locales de comidas, pero estos eran los que popularmente se conoce como comida rápida. Por esa razón será que en ese piso se podía encontrar un McDonald's, o su similar llamado Wendy's.

In short, we can think that these food stores are amazing, with a presentation that makes an impact on the customer. I guess it makes even more sense when you go with a friend or family. A good way to strengthen the creation of new memories and experiences; an incredible experience.
Although not knowing the price of the other products in these stores, it might be worth it to indulge yourself. Not that it is that expensive, but it is more expensive than what is considered traditional, or everyday. A treat every now and then might be nice.
En definitiva podemos pensar que estos comercios de comidas son alucinantes, con una presentación que logra impactar al cliente. Supongo que cobra aún más sentido cuando vas junto a un amigo o en familia. Una buena manera de fortalecer la creación de nuevos recuerdos y vivencias; una experiencia increíble.
Aunque desconociendo el precio de los demás productos en estos comercios, podría llegar a valer la pena darse el gusto. No es que sea tan caro, pero sí es más caro que lo que se considera tradicional, o del día a día. Un gusto cada tanto podría estar bien.

Having visited practically all the shopping, I decided it was time to go back home. I have taken a lot of pictures, and these are just a few. In fact, I had to choose from 150 pictures, almost 30, and it is quite a challenge, so I hope everything came out well and presentable.
The night also has its beauty, although there are also places where it is better to go a little faster, especially if there is not much light. But overall, this city is beautiful everywhere you look.
Ya habiendo visitado prácticamente todo el shopping, decidí que ya era hora de regresar a casa. He tomado muchísimas fotografías, y estas son solo algunas. De hecho, tuve que elegir de entre 150 fotografías, casi 30, y es todo un desafíos, por lo que espero que todo hay salido bien y presentable.
La noche también tiene su belleza, aunque también hay lugares por los que es mejor ir un poco más rápido, sobre todo si no hay mucha luz. Pero en general, esta ciudad es hermosa por donde se la mire.

This grand tour was a rewarding experience in every way. Above all, it reminded me of some moments from several years ago. The good thing is that with respect to that essence, it still remains the same as it once was, and that has a lot of value.
I hope you enjoyed this walk through the city to the Alto Palermo shopping mall with me. It was really exciting, wasn't it?
Este gran recorrido fue una experiencia gratificante en todos los sentidos. Sobre todo, me hizo recordar algunos momentos de ya hace varios años atrás. Lo bueno es que respecto a esa esencia, sigue manteniéndose igual que alguna vez, y eso tiene mucho valor.
Espero hayan disfrutado este caminar por la ciudad hasta el shopping del Alto Palermo junto a mí. Fue realmente emocionante, ¿verdad?
