Saludos, compañeros de Hive. El día de hoy les quiero compartir un poco de las experiencias que he estado viviendo con mi Volkswagen. Unos amigos y yo hemos estado arreglando un carrito que compré, pero tiene varios detalles que van saliendo a medida que se arregla algo y que va rodando.
Greetings, fellow Hive members. Today I want to share with you some of the experiences I've been having with my Volkswagen. Some friends and I have been fixing a car that I bought, but it has several details that are coming out as something is fixed and it is rolling.
Lo primero que nos dedicamos a hacer es revisar el cableado porque el carro no mandaba chispa. Después de identificar cada cable se toma la dedicación de hacer el sistema de cables nuevos y reacomodarlo. Sacamos todo y se conectaron las luces con sus palancas en el volante. Compré bombillos, sócate, fusilera nueva con sus fusibles y cocuyos de cruce de los guardafangos delanteros. Todo esto se hizo en dos domingos.
The first thing we did was to check the wiring because the car was not sending spark. After identifying each wire we took the dedication to make the new wiring system and rearrange it. We took everything out and connected the lights with their levers on the steering wheel. I bought bulbs, sockets, new fuse box with their fuses and front fenders crossing cocuyos. All this was done in two Sundays.
El primer domingo que conseguimos el cable que manda la corriente para la chispa, lo encendimos y acomodamos el tiempo del carro, ya que se apagaba y otras veces explotaba feo. Así que acomodamos los cables de las bujías, y ya para el tercer domingo los habíamos sacado a dar una vuelta y a lavar. Pudimos ver que le falta un poco de fuerza, pero funciona bien y que no le suena nada, ni al caer en un agujero.
The first Sunday we got the wire that sends the current for the spark, we turned it on and adjusted the timing of the car, since it would go out and other times it would explode badly. So we adjusted the spark plug wires, and by the third Sunday we had taken it out for a drive and a wash. We could see that it lacks a little power, but it runs well and does not sound anything, not even when falling into a hole.
Ya después lo he estado sacando los domingos para ir aprendiendo a manejar, aunque aún se van saliendo algunas cosas. Posiblemente deba cambiar el carburador, que tiene algunos tornillos aislados y consume mucha gasolina. Cada domingo le voy haciendo algo; este domingo le cambié el aceite, ya que estaba demasiado quemado el que tenía.
Afterwards I have been taking it out on Sundays to learn how to drive it, although some things are still coming out. Possibly I should change the carburetor, which has some isolated screws and consumes a lot of gasoline. Every Sunday I do something to it; this Sunday I changed the oil, as it was too burnt.
Una vez que se le cambió, lo sacamos y se vio la diferencia; tenía más fuerza, solo que ahora debo esperar al que me lo está arreglando que revise porque el arranque se pela. Va a revisar la cremallera y el bendix a ver si está desgastado. Yo saqué el arranque para ir adelantando, y así voy con mi proyecto, poco a poco.
Once it was changed, we took it out and saw the difference; it had more power, only now I have to wait for the guy who is fixing it to check because the starter is peeling. He is going to check the rack and bendix to see if it is worn. I took the starter out to go ahead, and that's how I'm going with my project, little by little.
