and I arrived in Sao Paulo via tour bus, having slept on the bus due to the luxurious first class tickets, where the seats go all the way back, we were fairly ready to take on the 6:00 AM morning at the central bus station downtown. The problem was, we didn't know where we were going to go because the we couldn't check in to the airbnb until later that afternoon.
We sat in the train station and grabbed a coffee, i think at this time it was about 8:30 AM and we Vlad was hitting up homies he knew in Sao Paulo to see if we could chill with them so as to get the hell out of the train station.
eventually woke up and said we could come over. I was stoked because I had not met will in real life yet.

The uber dropped us off and will was waiting at his house to greet us.
I really liked the location of his house, it was tucked away from the street, a layer of buildings in front of his house and it felt like we had a lot of privacy, peace, and quiet.

I was really glad he had a laundry machine. Vlad did not, and we left Rio from his apartment. half of my stuff was soiled with sweat and i didn't have any jeans to skate in that were clean.
We loaded up the laundry machine and Will lead us to his backyard, which is an intimate little space with a cool mossy cement wall and a skatespot where he bondo-ed a ledge.

Right above this ledge to my left was some clotheslines that i was able to hang my clothes on to dry as the sun moved it's location to evaporate the water that was occupying the fabric that my clothes were made of. (wow! such technical thinking lol)
Will's house was very cool. minimal and very stylish, just like him! I like seeing other artists homes and studios.
His fridge was covered in Thailand food ads that he collected when he was in thailand about a month ago with vlad.

His kitchen was cool. i like how his apartment had multiple doors that let outside. it was interesting architectural choice that i saw a few times in brazil. i was told that it was for back in the day, the servants had doors that went outside from kitchen areas so as to not disturb the people who hired them. that might not be the case here, in a somewhat small apartment but perhaps it was...

Will brewed us up some loose leaf chamomile tea as he chilled in his living room and talked and hung out while listening to music.

This picture pretty much describes why i made this post. his living room looked like an art installation. I liked how he had a plant that was growing on that mossy wall outside, coming in through the window and displayed on his wall ( that vine).
Will can do skate tricks on weird objects that slightly resemble skateboards. I feel like if he had a tick tok account his content would be the type to go viral. HE can do 360 flips on shovels, knives, and random pieces of wood.

The sun felt good in Sao Paulo, and i met the nieghbor woman who was down there doing her homework. she was drawing with a pencil on paper and i asked to see it. when she showed it to me it looked like some leonardo da vinci schematics. i couldnt really talk to her much because of the language barrier but it was still cool.
Before we left, we hit up a restaurant right across the street from wills and i got this super goof tapioca sandwhich. Will got an awesome little sandwhich that he let me have a bite of, and some orange juice.

He mentioned if we did want to skate quick, there was a little marble ledge he spotted with some smooth ground.
We walked over to it but decided to not invest in a session there.
Vlad wanted to photoshop the scene and make the windows look like gnars goggles.
It was cool seeing a Sao Paulo veteran in his natural habitat and I hope he does not mind me sharing my visit haha!
UPDATE! all the photos of his house had to be removed because he asked me to LOL
sorry
