Meet Bob. Bob is the building cat where I live in Leeds. He was a stray overweight tabby when the concierge & security team for the property thought to adopt him for the office. But Bob's no slacker. When whoever is on security duty sets out every hour to walk the grounds and check the buildings' doors, Bob does his part, too.
In this photo Bob is beginning his rounds with his guv, and saw me. As soon as we struck up the hooman-to-kitty convo, his body language changed. He came closer to me...and fast!
Bob is a man of few words. And he doesn't care for petting that is straight ahead. But as soon as he greets me and accepts the compliments I've bestowed on him for just how handsome he is, I get the other side of him!
Now Bob's ready for me to issue the petting he so rightly deserves!
When I am in New England, I get to enjoy our own Korat breed cat, NisaBoo. Maybe some of you have seen her here. But when I am in Leeds I am not catless. No, I've got Bob!
He's purrfect. If you don't believe me, ask him!
This is my first properly done (I hope!) post into the community. What's funny is that
has been celebrating CATURDAY for 236 Weeks! I didn't know how to carry that over to Hive. If for some reason, I missed something, please LMK. βΊοΈ
As I'm wrapping up here, we're also wrapping up the first month of 2026. That happened fast!
For now I sign off with my Power Up of 31 HIVE for 31 January. πͺπ½
Much love (of cats)! π»
