Fotografías a toda hora con Roberto (ESP/ENG)

Uno de estos días reflexionaba sobre la obsesión que tengo con tomarle fotos a mi gato en todo momento, este durmiendo en una posición rara, bañándose, comiendo o simplemente existiendo, lo veo y no puedo evitar capturar ese momento. Vamos que tampoco creo ser la única amante de los gatos que hace eso, yo creo que en ese sentido somos iguales.

The other day I was thinking about my obsession with taking pictures of my cat all the time—whether he’s sleeping in a weird position, grooming himself, eating, or just going about his business—I see him and I can’t help but capture the moment. I don’t think I’m the only cat lover who does that; I think we’re all the same in that regard.

Esta obsesión de tomarle fotos a los gatos no me pasa solo con los míos, veo un gato en la calle y también le tomo fotos, siento que estoy armando mi propio álbum Papini con gatos que no tengo. Incluso mucha de la conversación con mi hermano por WhatsApp es mandarnos fotos de lo que hace el gato.

This obsession with taking pictures of cats isn't limited to my own; I see a cat on the street and I take pictures of it too. I feel like I'm putting together my own Papini album with cats I don't even own. In fact, a lot of my WhatsApp conversations with my brother involve sending each other pictures of what the cat is up to.

Por eso hoy quiero mostrarte 5 colecciones de mis fotos favoritas de mi gato más viejo Roberto tomadas durante 2025 y 2026. Además, necesito seguir liberando espacio para continuar capturando sus mejores momentos.

That’s why today I want to show you 5 collections of my favorite photos of my oldest cat, Roberto, taken in 2025 and 2026. Plus, I need to keep clearing out space so I can keep capturing his best moments.

Verlo dormir es simplemente hermoso y mas que tiene sus momentos en los que se dobla de una forma tan extraña que no puedo evitar tomarle foto.

Watching him sleep is simply beautiful, and what's more, there are times when he curls up in such a strange way that I can't help but take a picture of him.

Algo común en los gatos es que les encanta meterse con el pesebre o con el árbol de navidad y mi gato no es la excepción.

It's common for cats to love messing with the nativity scene or the Christmas tree, and my cat is no exception.

Este gato no pierde la oportunidad para meterse en cuanta caja mal parada encuentra en la casa.

This cat never misses a chance to climb into any box he finds lying around the house.

Este gato puede ser muy fotogénico a veces y me gusta observarlo en los ratos que se queda parado justo donde pega algún rayo de sol, resalta mucho el color de su pelaje y sus ojos.

This cat can be very photogenic at times, and I like to watch him when he stands still right where a ray of sunlight hits him—it really brings out the color of his fur and his eyes.

Por último en el top de momentos fotografiables del gato, destaca el contraste con el verde cada vez que sube al techo cerca de la planta de uva que tenemos en casa o en el pequeño jardín.

Last but not least, among the cat’s most photogenic moments is the striking contrast with the greenery whenever he climbs onto the roof near the grapevine we have at home or in our small garden.
