Happy Caturday! Today, I'll be showing some photos of Casper (the kitten) sleeping. Since there is only five photos in my post I also decided to do exactly one edit on each of my photos.
Let's face it! Kittens and cats spend a lot of time sleeping so it is the best time for me to grab some photos of this active little kitten. Most of my photos of her awake have a blur since she is quite active.
She does tend to rough-house when she plays as in biting and scratching. I don't think she means to but she was an only kitten so I don't think she realizes how rough she is playing. Now that her teeth are coming in more it can hurt sometimes. She can be really loving at times also but when she is rough-housing it definitely makes me appreciate the sleeping moments .. lol.
Casper goes for her first veterinarian visit this coming Tuesday. It is the earliest appointment that we could get. I mentioned in my last cat post that she has some eye issues so I'm looking forward to see what the vet has to say about that. In the meantime my husband and I are putting a medicinal ointment on her eyes to try to help and it does.
Last week I also had to help take care of three fairly newborn kittens. Evidently, Casper's mommy had already gotten pregnant before we got Casper and since gave birth to three kittens. Her mommy is a stray cat and my daughter and her boyfriend are trying to get the mommy captured and fixed. Until then I worry she may become pregnant again but I sure hope not. The three little kittens were cute but required a lot more care than Casper since they were younger and it about wore me out. They have since gone to a foster family and will eventually be adopted out. My daughter thought that I might trade off Casper for one of the other three kittens but I couldn't do that to Casper (even with the biting) as she has become a part of our family now. 💖
Take care and have a Happy Caturday!! meow 😸
