Chej'u is such a beautiful cat and occasionally I capture those pretty blue eyes when the light hits them just right. Today I thought I would post some of my favorites of her. The above photo is her sitting on the top of the couch looking out the window watching the sparrows in the garden.
On this day, she asked to go outside as she like to sit in the front garden. This is the look on her face when she gets scared of a noise and is waiting for me to open the door.
This fine day she decided to lie on the back porch for a little while. She loved to do this often until our dog Mika joined the household. Now, she rarely comes down from the upstairs bedrooms because Mika pounces all over her. At 16 years old she has no patience for that.
Here she is asking for a belly rub which she absolutely loves. She purrs so loud when she gets one and you know that she is enjoying every minute.
This last one is her lying on my bed taking a little catnap. She peaked open her eyes when she heard me come into the room to take a picture. She looks so comfy cozy.
This past week we noticed that she was having a hard time jumping up and down from the beds. So, we got her a pair of steps for pets, and she started using the right off. Now, we don't have to worry about her hurting herself or getting her claws stuck in the blankets.
She will be the last cat that we will have owned. Over the years we have had over a dozen or more. They all lived nice long lives. At one time we had 5 cats at one time, which was a lot to care for at once. I know someone else here on hive that knows just what I mean, right ? How are your kitties all doing?
