It has been so humid and warm today, so I let my kitty roam around outside. When I checked on them, they were under the hawthorn bush and had made themselves a little bed, with a partition for privacy, haha! They looked cooler there, but also looked bored.
so I wasn't planning to go to the woods, it was just a snap decision to say, "Let’s go" to these two.
They followed me eagerly.
And I thought of taking them a different way this time, across the road, through a field.
Then suddenly, I lost them. I looked around and found them at one of the entrances through the bushes, with Coco sticking her head out, staring at me as if she were saying, "Come this way!"
So I thought I’d give them a chance to go where they wanted, so I pushed the bushes aside and squeezed through the tiny gap. I was surprised to find that inside was like a little den, surrounded by bushy trees, a quiet, cosy spot to sit and chill.
I realised this was the end of the woods I normally go to, but I hadn’t been able to access it before because the embankment is so bushy and steep.
There’s a bridge there that obviously no one uses, as it’s full of obstructing branches, and the other side is full of nettles.
So I cleared the bridge so the kitties could play, and I could chill too!
I think we found a new adventure spot! Clever Kitties.
They had a good play while I pottered about, seeing what was in there. Then it was time to head back.
Then on our way back, they were chasing each other around behind me, making mischief.
And Coco kept fluffing up, trying to make herself look big.
Blu was trotting behind and causing mischief in the field.
As soon as we are back, I gave them a tuna treat. They earned it for showing me a secret den!
What a lovely Caturday.
Hope you all had a good one!
