A Very Tired Little Friend / Un Amiguito Muy Cansado

This little friend has been coming to my backyard for days now. She is usually very quiet and all she wants from me is a little food. She is a community cat, welcome in almost every backyard and garden. She causes no trouble and makes no mess; she just looks for a shady spot to protect herself from the sun or a safe place to shelter from the rain. But this time the weather was quite mild and she seemed very happy, walking back and forth and trying to play with me.

Esta amiguita ya tiene días llegando al patio de mi casa, suele ser muy tranquila y lo único que espera de mí es un poco de comida; se trata de una gata comunitaria, la cual es bienvenida en casi todos los patios y jardines, no causa molestia ni ensucia absolutamente nada, solo busca un espacio sombreado para protegerse del sol o un lugar seguro que la aleje de la lluvia. Pero en esta oportunidad el clima era bastante benigno y ella al parecer estaba muy contenta, caminando de un lado a otro e intentando jugar conmigo.

I think she is pregnant and must feel a little helpless, but at the same time she is alert to everything going on around her, showing that she has a totally refined and 100% functional instinct. Whenever I have the opportunity to give her something to eat, I don't hesitate to do so, as her company is quite pleasant and it has been proven that these felines are the perfect allies in the fight against various types of pests that often plague these houses, which could be considered rural.

Creo que se encuentra embarazada y se debe sentir un poco indefensa, pero al mismo tiempo se encuentra alerta de todo lo que sucede a su alrededor, demostrando que tiene un instinto totalmente refinado y 100% funcional. Cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de darle algo de comer, no dudo en hacerlo, ya que su compañía es bastante agradable y está más que comprobado que estos felinos son los aliados perfectos en la lucha contra distintos tipos de plaga que suelen azotar a estas casas que podrían considerarse de campo.

I would like to adopt her and have her stay in my home, but the truth is that my pet, a Rat Terrier with a very strong temperament, also lives within these walls; therefore, she does not get along well with any felines. But this does not prevent me from trying to make this cat's life a little easier, which is why at certain times of the day she waits for me to open the patio door to receive her food ration, which I am sure will be very necessary at a time when she needs much more energy.

Me gustaría adoptarla y que se quedara dentro de mi hogar, pero la verdad es que dentro de estas paredes también convive mi mascota, la cual es una Rat Terrier de temperamento muy fuerte; por lo cual, no se la lleva absolutamente bien con ningún felino. Pero esto no es impedimento para que trate de hacerle la vida a esta gata un poco más fácil, por eso es que a ciertas horas ella espera que abra la puerta del patio, para recibir su respectiva ración de comida, la cual estoy seguro de que será muy necesaria en un momento en donde necesita muchas más energías.
