Beer Saturday: Beer in Paradise
One of the things that's cool about being able to work remotely or from "home" wherever that may be, is taking what I have and being able to go anywhere to work. It's certainly what we did on this trip!
One of my favorite things to do lately when we go somewhere, even if it's a few dozen miles or a few hundred miles away, is to try and support one of the local breweries if they have one! Thankfully this place here certainly has some local ones!
The beer wasn't one of my usual suspects, which is normally an IPA. This was a nice summer wheat beer and boy is it delicious. Nice citrus flavors in it and it went down quite smooth. My only complaint was that I like beer in bottles a bit more than cans but regardless it was nice to enjoy this tasty treat while looking out at a wonderful view like this!
It was nice to have a place to go and have a drink while at the pool as well. This bar was pretty chill and they had some good local beers on tap. This one was called Five Hands IPA and I knew I had to try it! It was a nice smooth IPA and was a nice end to the day.
