Enjoying a beer and writing about it
This #BeerSaturday comes from FullSteam Bewery in Durham, NC. I picked it because of its name.
Was I supposed to drink an IPA? Dang it!

Coffee is for Closers
This is obviously a dark beer. I am a fan of dark beers. I had plenty of Guinness pints when I traveled on two different trips to Scotland and Ireland. And, it might be my bias, but the beer did taste different at the roof top brewery at Guinness' factory in Dublin. They say it has to do with the different water that they use in Ireland as oppose to the beers they ship to the rest of the world.
Coffee is for Closers does taste like someone left out some coffee and it magically fermented. And, to be honest, I really didn't notice the coffee taste until I was almost completely done with it. Either way, I enjoyed the beer and I'm not a coffee drinker. When I do drink coffee, I usually like it black, so that might help those who do love coffee decide if this beer would be for you.
Coffee is for Closers is available on tap from the brewery. I have a growler and the fact that the local is 24% alcohol by volume peaks my curiosity. I don't know if I could consume an entire growler full of Coffee is for Closer, but I don't think I would sleep much for the next day if I did.
Let the positive energy sing!
