Another unique beer from the Halls and Woodhouse Brewery in Branford Dorset.
This time it’s a 5.7% ABV Ruby ale sold under the Badger label, I’ve even got the right pint glass :).
It’s a bit hard to describe the label sez full bodied fruity with Damson and Liquorice. I get a defiantly fruity beer but overwhelming black current and a hint of Sloe. But certainly not unpleasant.
It’s also had a gold in the world beer awards in 2021 so it shouldn’t be too bad at all.
It pours really well with a very creamy head that is almost Guinness like
And defiantly took a while to settle and is holding it’s own well down the glass.
So Hivers any down sides with this weeks tipple only one I wish I’d got a few more bottles. It’s a great beer for clear spring evening in the garden. Or having your Saturday online beer with who is obviously sat outside in the sun.
