I don't know if anyone else has come across beer but as a Hiver how could I resist doing a post.
First of all, they have been about for a little while 2013 to be precise and they do a few varieties. The first one I'm trying is the Hiver Honey Blonde, mostly because I saw it in my local supermarket.
It's light and crisp and you definitely get a tang of honey. The color is good and crystal clear but a little darker than an average lager. Just 4.5% so would be good for a summer session with a barbeque.
According to their website WWW.hiverbeers.com they also do a Belgian Blonde, a Session IPA, and an Amber Beer. As well as normal bottles you can also order 8.8 pint Party kegs which will be a great idea once were out of lockdown and you can get a few mates round, just a little bit greedy to keep it all to yourself, mind you I know a few that would ;) . The keg photo from their website.
The website is worth checking out as well as kegs you can order selection boxes or single brew cases. they also do a natty line in glasses and bottle openers.
I can't wait for the summer when and
are over in the UK to try out a keg of Amber, I guess I'd better start looking for somebody to drive :)
Next time I see it on the shelves Hivers I'll do another tasting and review of one of the other versions and who knows I might order a keg for the summer.
