Bit of a change today as the weather in the UK is definitely on the sunny side so it’s a BBQ and cider day. With the cider for today being Aspalls Premier Cru definitely a champagne among ciders.

It really went very well with the BBQ. Bit of a lamb, chicken and pork meat feast but that’s what a blokes BBQ should be. seems to enjoy it anyway.
There was some salad but it was a bit ignored. I guess there’s always tomorrow if the weather holds.
Anyway Hivers the cider was Aspalls Premier Cru is a very dry sparkling, 6.8%ABV Suffolk Cider I couldn’t really say anything about the advertised floral bouquet with the smoke from the BBQ masking everything.
Sitting here writing up a beer Saturday post I can defiantly feel the effects of the 6.8%ABV, I’ve really got a bit of a rosy glow on so I’m glad I’m not driving anywhere tonight.
As for the BBQ the plates were certainly cleaned up which is always a good sign.
Fingers crossed the weather holds for a few more BBQs and ciders before the summer is over but you never know in the UK.
