This thought was going through my head, while I poured the second round from one bottle into the glass, an unusual volume that I had never seen before.

When I poured the first glass, I did it very slowly so the foam that formed was very thin.
Contrary to what I've heard about this beer.

Fischer Blonde Tradition, I found on the shelf of a market, and as I first encountered it, I decided to taste it.
The first thing I noticed when I picked up the bottle was the size of the bottle.
I know that sometimes the shape of the bottle can be misleading and that it has a smaller or larger volume, but this bottle seemed bigger to me than the 0.5l bottles of the same shape.
And it was.
The volume of beer in this bottle is 660 ml.
Exactly two small cans in one bottle 🙂
A true measure of enjoyment!

With a slightly larger volume, I was also surprised by the alcohol content of 6%.
This is not a craft beer, but it is the first one from France that I have had the opportunity to drink.
Fischer Blonde comes from the Alsace brewing region in France. It is produced by the Brasserie Fischer brewery, whose tradition dates back to 1821.
This beer is a Pale Lager, French Pilsner with 6% alcohol.
Although after the first pour the foam was not what I expected, I liked its clear, golden-yellow color.
More pronounced carbonation contributes to the freshness of the beer, and the bitterness, which can be felt only after you lose the malt taste in your mouth after a few sips, is very pleasant.
The aroma is dominated by notes of roasted grains, along with herbal tones of hops that give this slightly stronger lager a local, Azal character (from the hops grown in that region).
I once heard a great sentence, related to life and football. "Unlike life, there is a second half in football."
In football, you have the opportunity to make amends. And so, thanks to the larger volume of the bottle, I also had a fix with this beer.
By pouring a little more dynamically, I managed to create a slightly thicker foam, which looks nice, creamy and releases some floral and fruity aromas, and it seems that the sweetness of the malt is felt even more intensely in the foam that lingers on the lips for a moment.

I didn't drink beer with local French specialties, seafood or aged cheeses, but I liked it after a meal.

I promised myself that I would look for another package of this beer, because after researching I saw that its most popular package is a bottle with a reusable cap, a very nice shape, which can be left as a decoration after drinking the beer.
