I arrived in Bratislava half an hour ago. After checking in at the hotel I went out to see if there was anything open at 10 pm.
The first joint was a wine bar. Skipped.
Then, around the corner, like a miracle, there was a craft beer bar. Pecto. I had no choice but to enter.
I am writing this report live during my second tasting of a local beer. I need to get up early in the morning so I will leave more tasting for Sunday night.
Frankly, I have no idea what I am drinking. Except that both beers are very good. Not sweet at all.
The first one was probably Čierny kamen or Black stone.
Quite sour taste suits me fine. It went down very well after five hours of driving.
The second one, which I am still enjoying, was Wywar. Another craft, a bit sweeter and stronger than the first.
Both beers were quite delicious and tasty and so not like the ordinary beers from this geographic area.
I'll make a follow up with more info about the craft beer parlor itself, Pecto, in the next few days.
Better and better
