How's your weekend going, hivers? I hope you had as much fun as we did.
Last Friday, I went to a Beer Night with my friends and
. We had a mini meetup the other week and came across this open bar called The Park Social. I asked Miesel if we could go out next weekend because I had missed out on nightlife since the pandemic hit, and besides, the bar or most of the bar is not open yet, and we have liquor bans every now and then, as well as a curfew in the last year.
We agreed to meet at 6 p.m., but we were late and arrived at the meeting location at 7 p.m. Miesel had some grocery shopping to do, so she was kept busy while we waited.
Before going inside,we had a brief conversation.
Although the venue appears to be full, it is a Friday night, and most people are out celebrating after a long week at work.
We were greeted with a warm smile when we entered the bar, and we headed upstairs to find a decent place where we could see the band and the other group of people.
We ordered a bucket of beer and I am ecstatic to try this beer again. I had this during one of our hive meetups and as a person who doesn't drink that much I find this beer as not as strong as other kind of beers and tastes good. That night, there are two bands that will perform. The first band performs a gentle mix of love tunes and RnB. After 10 p.m., a new band will perform, which will be more energetic or disco in nature.
Both bands were able to give the people a good amount of enjoyment. People are singing along and some requested songs and joining the band on the stage. We never intended to order 3 sets of beer but I guess we were enjoying too much and we have the company of other groups which is very friendly and cheering all the way. It was so far a great night. I was having a second thought of going back to a bar scene because of the previous incidents I've experienced. And the thing that I don't like in a bar scene is experiencing chaos with people being drunk and bumping each other or having fights over small things but gladly that was not the case that night. The people were very controlled and just having fun and cheering and dancing to the music.
I'm glad I went out that night because it's something I've been missing out on for a long time. It's impossible to go wrong with nightlife, a good companion, and a nice cold beer.
That's for my Friday night, how about you guys? Did you get a chance to spend the weekend with your pals?
