Hello Beerhivers!
A new weekend means a new #BeerSaturday. But yesterday there was a problem...
After an absence of 2 months I got back on the plane yesterday for the trip to Spain. Back two weeks of vacation with my sweet wife , who lives there.
It was already very hot when we arrived, so we didn't really do much besides unpacking my backpack and resting, eating, drinking, and repeating the previous.
Nevertheless, a beer should of course not be missing at a temperature of 35 degrees C, so luckily I took time for that, but the blogging has not been done yesterday.
So you still have it now.
This time a refined lager, that's what I call it, although the brewer will not like to hear that, but still, a clear light yellow beer of 6.66% (the devil's figure), that's it.
And the name does not lie. Duvel 6.66 is a delicious drinker. Very clear when poured, with a - as we are used to see from Duvel beers - a very large fine white foam head.
And yes, luckily I had another one available, because the next two weeks it will be Spanish beers, and they are not so good in this area.
I have to work on that again to find a good beer supplier so that I do not have to miss the delicious barley drink during my stay in Spain.
And this Duvel 6.66 appeals to me. A strong pilsner, but easy to drink. Apart from the mildly bitter in the beer, there is actually not much that can be experienced in the flavors and smell.
Too bad there was only one left in the fridge, because on a sunny terrace here, in the shade, this would taste good, a few in a row.
Well, I've had it anyway. Have a nice Sunday evening everyone, and see you at next #BeerSaturday!
Cheer!
