With the increasing amount of Covid-19 around us amongst people I know, I don't feel the urge to mingle around with too many people anymore at this moment. Which means we are keeping most of to ourselves, but this doesn't mean that we don't want to be outside at all. There is enough to explore in our new region, and what better is a better way to do this than with your dog to somewhere.
Amongst the water side we found a nice play to hoover around and hoping to see some water action. Even though autumn has kicked in, there is still some action with boats passing by. I like boats. It would be a total hassle to own one, so looking at the boats just seems like enough for me.
Erdinger. The actual most decent Weissen beer that I know. Always sold in 0.5 liter bottles which is ofcourse way too much, but is always rewarding when you are walking around for a bit. I have the association with Weissen beer and skiing. But I also have the feeling the road to the Alps will be very long this year. The question is also that when you go to a skiing region how they will deal with the lines around these lifts up. With 1.5 or 2 meters distance the lines before these lifts will be longer than the actual skiing pistes will be. And ofcourse no apres ski. Not that hanging with your friends around the house is a bad thing, but will hanging around the house even be possible this year? Or better said: should you want that?
Anyway an Erdinger is a beer that needs some time to pour if you ask me. You never are able to pour it all at once, and you should roll the bottle between your hands to release the 'Hefe' (the hops) from the bottom. When you pour this last part into your glass you see the beer going from clear to unclear...How it should be.
Holland has been in new Covid measures for almost 2 weeks now, and the numbers are still increasing almost every day. Around Tuesday the new balance will be made of it, and I have the feeling that some new measures will be taken. I have no idea if this will be locking the bars again, or locking the schools again, but I guess something will be done because the numbers in the hospitals are slowly creeping up. This means we can't provide the normal level of healthcare and that is an indicator which is being looked at. Let's see what will happen later on in the week.
But as long as we are able to have a beer here or there with our furry friend outside, I am still cool. This winter is going to be a damn long one, so when the moments of doing something are there, we'd better do then.
Happy Sunday yall, enjoy your freedom while we still can
