Tonight I treated myself to another Belgian beer – this time it's Fourchette, a strong blond ale in tripel style. I picked it up during our last visit to the Haus der 1000 Biere, where I grabbed a mixed box of 11 different Belgian beers to try. Yes… I really love Belgian beers 😄
The Fourchette comes from Brouwerij Van Steenberge, and with its 7.5% alcohol, it’s got a nice kick – but still super smooth and drinkable. It’s full-bodied, lightly bitter, and has this refreshing, slightly spicy character that I really enjoy.
Good thing my brother also bought one – so I still have a backup bottle for another day. But honestly, next time I’m in Belgium, I’m definitely restocking this one. It’s a keeper.
