` Beer Thirstday: The Broadcastenig
Grumpy men drinking
And playing music, talking Cryptos and having fun.
On Air
Well, beer tastening with the two of us this time around. So no three beerketeers. Next week we will though. Tasting some very very old beers. Not sure if we will actually really drink all of them. There's one that is from 1994! Now that one might be off a wee bit. Could really be aweful. When the cap comes off and does 'psssssh' then it still might be drinkable. Still we will use our noses and nip a bit to see if it has not gone sour. There are some who like that taste, but we three beerketeers do not. So, no Lambik also. Back to this evening...
Unfortunately the broadcast will be in our country its native tongue 'Nederish'. Though we do also speak 'Deutsch' we wont go 'Dutch'. Live radio, together with is going to be fun above all. Still during the beer tastetening we will also talk Cryptos and whatever comes to our spirit loaded minds. Okay, okay, but what is it that will do thf trick this evening starting from 2030 hours (CEST)? Well I hope I did get us some nice ones, as I'm hosting this time around.
We kick off with the 5.5% 'Kon minder' by Baxbier Brewery. Should be a refreshing start. As I have not eaten yet. Then we move on to the 'Prince Owlbert' (name does ring a bell) this 6 percent one is made by Uil Brewery Co. Next there's an Isle of Texel beer the 6% Skuumkoppe. After that comes something that reminds me of a Thursday story by Sir Boom of Alba, which always ended in "A gentleman never tells." The 7.7% Weizen Triple known as 'Bullebak' sounds interesting, it is made by 'de eeuwig jeugd' brewery.
Then we get to the 8% blond Omer. And that one is followed by a Grand Cru of 9.5 percent, by St. Feuillien. Saving the best for last? Absolutely, because I already had the pleasure of tasteting the LeFort 10, a very nice one finish with! Anyway time to start.
