Tonight's #beersaturday adventure is a good one. The beer isn't as good as some of the other ones, but after a day of Saturday in the office, a little one that didn't nap, and a dog that threw up a few times today. When all of that was said and done, I hopped into the CRV and headed across the river to see what was new at my favorite liquor store.
I grabbed this one as a) I have never had a Noon Whistle before and b) I liked the name of the beer. There was no date of fill on the can, so I had to roll the dice for a $18 USD four-pack.
This one sits at a hefty 7% ABV. It's hazy and definitely an IPA, and the hop billing is Vic Secret, El Dorado, and Lemon Drop. It's not a bad profile, but it's almost too sweet. I love my hazys, but not when it almost tastes like a fruity seltzer.
With the beer in hand, looking back on the day..maybe not as bad as I thought.. I took a few photos of the shop again once I finished up payroll, I'm thinking I might have another set of black and white photos, plus the random picture of the day. Honestly, it's nice to float about on the floor with no one looking at you. Us accountants, you know...always a bad rap.
Creativity, is the key, as one would say. The beer helps fuel that, to be honest (at least for me!).
Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my #beersaturday fun. Until next weekend...
