As those who follow me know, I've been working on a new blockchain project for the past months together with a small team. We have been finetuning the business model, creating the front end, deploying the smart contracts, contacting potential clients and users, and designing all the art. The image above is a pre-launch membership NFT which we will be releasing in several live testing sessions in early February.
Although it is based on blockchain tech, the model is a mix of real-world and blockchain, as you can see from the logo it is related to beer, craft beer to be more precise, and will not involve any crypto cost for the users. We have chosen the Polygon POS chain to launch as EVMs are where our development team has most of their experience but if we succeed, I will try to see how we can involve Hive blockchain. So far, I plan to use Hive for project blog posting with an account I created a few weeks ago which is still empty, as you may guess its name is
After I came back from Istanbul DevConnect, last November, we decided to join the Polygon Village Build #1 grants program to compete with other projects and try to get a small grant from them. Today we will be joining the Quadratic Funding QF phase of the competition, where all projects will be able to post for donations using the Giveth.io platform. Polygon will match the donations with a QF round where the most valuable is not the amount of donations you get, but the number of donors.
I plan to give away some memberships in the Hive Beer community once the project is up and running. I will also post the link to the project once we enter the Polygon competition for those willing to give us a hand with their donation any amount will add as any small donation counts for the quadratic funding Polygon will add.
We will launch the project no matter what happens in the Polygon competition but a few dollars would help us pay for some of the expenses we have done so far.
I will start adding some info in the coming weeks when we will be quite busy testing everything and getting ready for the official launch. Make sure you follow if you want to stay up to date with our progress.
The project has a static webpage with info which we will change in a few days with the final dApp but you can read about going to this link.
Cheers!!
