Hail to the Hive!
We are still in a bit of limbo since selling badger the Narrowboat and getting ourselves ready for a trip overseas but in the short time that we have been in Devon, as guests of , we have discovered a little oasis
Tuckers Maltings
I love the place. It is simply so easy going and friendly with a wonderful and ever changing array of beery beverages to choose from. Always something different on tap,can & bottle every yime we walk through the doors. It's easily my favourite pub in the area and I'm not just saying that cos Chris the Manager bought me a pint (although I can be easily bought, I'm anybodies for a hazy IPA)
So today I was a little torn between "The Joy of Sesh" & Factotum.
So I tried the hand drawn Joy of sesh first and could immediately tell why it was named thus as I could envision quaffing a good number of pints of this on a session of boozing.
I must be quite thirsty as it seemed like less than a minute or 2 and I had emptied my glass. Time for another, but what to have??. And that is what I love about this place there's always choice.
Next up....' Factotum Pale "
Now this was a delicious unfiltered mouth watering ,refreshingly delicious ( did I already say delicious ok but it is what it is) beuty of a pint and I decided that I would stick with this for the rest of the session.
