Hail to the Hive!
So Saturday is once more upon us and that means #beersaturday with . And I have a new selection of lovely beers this week to wet my whistle with.
Now I had dabbled with the idea of doing this beer Saturday outside on the stern deck of the boat but brrrrr it’s a little chilly for me after 7 years of tropical weather in the Philippines so inside the boat me goes.
Ok that’s better nice and warm in here so lets get this booze show on the road!
So first up is Hop House 13. It’s brewed by the wonderful folks at Guinness and is 4.6% of amazingly refreshing beer with only a hint of hoppiness but lots of happiness.
Apparently is on the king goblin. Seems to be taking it’s toll on him rather quickly.
Next up is Adnams ‘Ghost Ship’ a 4.5% citrus pale ale with a hoppy kick.
I think if you aren’t into the hops taste this might not work for you but the Hop House 13 would I believe be good for anyone
Steady on is back on the Black Sheep, he’s a mad man I tell you!
Ooooh but look at this. What a lovely colour this is.
This is Shipyard, and American IPA. At 5% it is the strongest of the 3 tonight but is , in my opinion, the best of the 3. Delicious. Absolutely delicious and leaves you wanting to crack open the next as soon as it is gone.
But unlucky for me there was only the one so I am back on the Hop House 13, which is great so I am not complaining.
I have to say in these weird times it has been a lot of fun doing the Saturday beer up with and I am already looking forward to next Saturday and will need to go in hunt of some more beers to sample.
